Wyatt the owner is fantastic. Fresh meat, he won't even accept chickens older than 3 days from slaughter. Grinds his own beef!! Highly recommend for fresh meat!

When I tell you Wyatt’s meat, and by meat I mean the poultry of course, is nothing short of phenomenal. From the outskirts of Wyatt’s fabulous hands, you’re getting premium meat at premium prices that scream, “succulent”. Tender and juicy packaged delights will make your mouth water just by walking through the door. Just by looking at Wyatt, and then the meat. Then Wyatt. Then the meat. Then you buy the meat. Then you see Wyatt. By the time you’re eating your savory plate, you’ll be back at Lawson’s checkerboard floor in no time.

Voice-mail says they close at 6:00. Nowhere in the voice-mail does it say 6:30. That's not my complaint. This isI called, and I got a voice-mail. Got a call back immediately and I ask "hey are you open?"Response- "well I'm here aren't i?"I explained what I heard in the voice-mailI did not tell him "well unfortunately sir thats not what it says in the voice-mail" but rather I refrained my attitude and just explained what I heard in the voice-mail and that I'm just confused...Instead I was courteous and respectful and kept my rude responses to myself.He did answer all my questions and thank you for that but as for Me driving 1 hour and 15min away to purchase over 150$ worth of product for fun, no thank you. First experiences are everything especially for customers,The least you could have done before hanging up the phone was say what I said which was "alright have a good day" instead of 4 seconds of pure silence then hanging up."Well I'm here aren't i""Well we close at 6:30"-says nothing for 4 seconds and Hangs up after I say "alright have a good day"Results- lost the opportunity of a new customer and got a honest review.

My wife and I searched for what we needed everywhere from local grocery stores, to the big chains, to the big box stores, and even other butchers and meat markets (several of which were either closed on Saturdays or closed for the "season"), but we could not find it anywhere. We found Lawson's on Google and decided to stop in. The guy could not have been more friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He knew they had recently gotten what we were looking for, but also knew that it wasn't ready because the butcher hadn't done his thing yet. He said he would try to get a hold of the butcher and see if they'd be willing to come in and get us what we need. Within hours, the job was done, they called us, and we came back to pick it up. Again, the man in the store was pleasant and happy to have helped us, and we were extremely grateful for this as well.In an age where when most employees and companies in this position would have told us no, or that they didn't have what we were looking for, or something along those lines...it was refreshing to have the kind of service we received by Lawson's on that Saturday when it meant the most to us.Lawson's does business the right way, as far as I'm concerned, and I would recommend them to anyone!

Best meat market. Steve is still me of the main reasons I go! I love being able to get our meat at a clean location with great service !! Super clean area, great cuts. Call ahead orders are always perfect. Tender cuts. Guy knows his meats!
