Both of my kids go here, in infant class and 12-18m class. I absolutely love it, the teachers are very caring and take good care of the kids. I never have to worry about my kids while they’re here!

The best daycare to send your children to if you’re located in the Humble/Spring area! My oldest daughter has been here since she was 1 and she’s now 3. The teachers and the director Mrs. Candie are all so wonderful and sweet. My 7 months old is here now and I’m at peace knowing that my children are in great care. Thank you all so much for everything that you do*Updated review*I’ve never had any issues with this daycare. My oldest is now in elementary school but still comes whenever there is a break or if she has an appointment and I’m not able to bring her to school that day. My youngest, who is now 2 years old soon to be 3 has been here as well! I’ve now moved over 30-45 minutes away from the daycare and I still have my children enrolled! That’s because I’m so confident in the wellbeing of my baby with the staff here. I watch the cameras daily, and if there is an incident between my child and another I am notified immediately and incident report is given to me as well. I know we as mothers want the best for our children, and choosing the right daycare can be scary. I can assure you, your children are safe and well taken care of here.

Do NOT send your child here. I pulled my child out on her first day, and she didn’t finish the whole day. There is a lot of lack of communication between staff and between staff and parents. They do not check the paper work about what a child is allergic to or their food preferences. They offered my child food I specifically asked them not to and its all in her file as well. There was no comforting for my crying child until i called them to tell them to comfort her because she was crying since it was her first day and of course she would be scared. The diapers were changed for 10-15 children using the same glove and then wiper my child’s face with a wipe using that same glove. One child was dragged by her arms to the changing table. If that was my child we would be in court now. When i walked back to the facility to ask a question there was no one at the front desk for a long time. After I confronted the staff i was not offered any refund which was the least they could have offered. There is a lot more that happened but that all is for the authorities to know. Pull your child out / don't sent your child here if you care about them at all. Ps. I know other people who got their child out of this daycare due to neglect and now following the parents instructions. Since they have video cameras in their classes they can pull up the videos of that day and watch tor themselves everything i have stated. I also have records of it. Thankful for those cameras otherwise I would have only the fake happy pictures they send on the app versus what was really happening in real time .I hope it closes down & soon.

Do not bring your kids to this daycare! Where do I start I was already skeptical about enrolling my 1 year old in daycare period so I ended up going with this one because they have live streaming. the director stated she didn’t have room in the 14 month class so she wasn’t placed with her age range, mind you my baby had just started taking steps. She was barely walking. Not even 3 days at the daycare and this happened, I watched on camera as the Ms.Heather slid the bed across the floor to another teacher, the other teacher let her fall face first onto the floor. I immediately left work and picked her up. Set up a meeting with The director Kandy Cook she was so nonchalant and told me the cameras cannot be replayed , it’s only live recording. Found out yesterday that was a lie. After giving it another try they ended up hiring another teacher “Naya slater” the teacher that play nice but really hate her job(the evil teacher) to be exact! I watched this lady let other kids bite and fight other kids, I got the screenshots to prove it. Also she hits the kids i caught her pushing my daughter and addressed the situation,KANDY COOK then all of a sudden REPLAYED/watched the video. My baby has learned so many bad habits at this daycare. They just give anybody leadership these days. And her sidekick Renisha the ASSISTANT DIRECTOR Do more talking than the director. This woman wanna know everything that happened but never fix the situation. My baby also came home with a scratch in her face. And all of her diapers go missing out her bag every time. 10 diapers but her clothes be soaking wet when I pick her up. And her outfits are always stained. My advice don’t send a child if they can’t talk people are cruel. my sister and I watched “Naya”snatch up kids multiple times a day, and caught her letting the kids drink after her. I’ve definitely changed for the better iykyk kandy don’t have a heart and could careless don’t let that women get on here lien here’s a pic of my child on the playground after it rained. Like why would you let a child play on a wet playground

Have a bad experience with this daycare some of the teachers are unprofessional the director(Kandie Cook) call you for every little thing i never had a experience like this before when a person steady call your phone like she dont know how to handle a promblem every day all day like you don't have a life or a job i wouldn't recommend this daycare at all if i could give this daycare a score it would be a zero but i put a one star because it would let me put a 0.If you could change some things i would replace the teachers there it will two teachers and the director get soneone in there that can deal with different situations all kids not the same.

My daughter attended this daycare for a year. Overall the teachers she worked with were great. We loved and adored her toddler teacher Ms. Maria. She was extremely caring and took great care of my child. The experience starting off at the daycare was over the top but as time went along there was extreme turnover that was concerning. My daughter had a new afternoon teacher every couple of months which I was not happy about. From when my daughter started last summer until now, alot of the original staff are no longer there. I would place this on the director Ms. Candie because she was not the most nurturing and caring director. I had to constantly have calls with her regarding the care of my child. In 90% of those conversations, she ran around the topic and showed a lack of care for my concerns. My child was moved from class to class because the director does not properly place the kids. Depending on how many kids showed up that day determined what class they were in, which is ridiculous. The kids should be in 1 consistent class based on their age, like the handbook says. She had busted lips several times and was bitten on several occasions and protocol was not taken in those situations. Both times she was bitten, I had to be the one to call them instead of hearing from them first. Despite enjoying the teachers, we decided to part ways because I no longer trusted my child in the care of the director. The tone of the daycare starts at the top and this director continuously showed that she is not a leader but a dictator.

My daughter Layla loves this place and was sad when it closed due to the flood waters from Hurricane Harvey. We hope for a recovery soon so i can enroll my son.

Even though I walked into a friendly place, and received daily pictures of my child via their app....I will never recommend this place. After only being there for a few weeks, when either my husband or I picked up our child, he always had a soiled diaper on. And I mean it was a daily issue. The director stated that we were picking him up during changing times, and I tried to reason myself with that fact...but still. EVERY DAY? Then the biggest upset was when I go the call 30 mins after I dropped him off that there was an accident and I needed to come and assess the situation. I walked in and was shown my child who had gauze over one side of his mouth. After removing the gauze, my son had a whole in his mouth!!!! His lip had split his lip all the way through and down his mouth. They said it was because he was running and ran into a rounded corner of a table....Yeah, don't believe that for a second. Needless to say, after getting 4 stitches in his lip, we never went back there.

This is the worst daycare... They are all lazy and don't want to do there jobs.. my son is 3 years old and had went to La Petite since he was 6 months old and then when he was 2 1/2 I was told that he was to hyper and that they couldn't control him... Excuse me... He is 3.. he is hyper but you are a daycare and should be able to handle a hyper child. Then when he turned 3 I was told that he might be expelled from the school because again they couldn't control him... So one day I get a phone call and it's Candy the manager telling me that my son has been removed from the classroom and is in her office because he didn't want to take a nap and the teacher held him down and he hit the teacher first of all she should have never held my son down so I don't blame him for hitting her this place is absolutely horrible I would not recommend it to anybody. My son now goes to Raintree Academy and has had no problems so it just goes to show you how lazy and unprofessional La Petite Academy is.

I love Lapetite, the staff are awesome, they actually TEACH the children there so its not just a daycare, more like EDUcare .. love, love, love it! They even have a bus to pick up the children from school in the area !! Unbeatable!
