October 2023 by J B
Scheduled new patient appointment with Dr. Jeffrey Lambert, 8 AUG 23 for my son and myself for 18 and 19 OCT 23 - several weeks in advance, this was the first available appointments for both of us. My son had a school conflict that we had no way of knowing about weeks ago, and I thought I had a reasonable request to swap our appointments this week so we could avoid the conflict. This office is extremely rigid, and with no exceptions, or not even trying to discuss with Dr. Lambert, would not support the request. The best they could do was push my son's appointment to the earliest to the earliest available in JAN 24. Unfortunately, I had to cancel both appointments - very disappointed and will have to look elsewhere.

I have been with Dr. Lambert since I was 15 yrs old. He had his own practice for years and is a wonderful doctor. He joined Methodist and, in my opinion, made it better. I am giving 5 stars to him and his staff. The staff here has always been good. I'm not sure why other reviews are so negative, perhaps just a bad day? However,I have nothing good to say about Methodist hospital at the Woodlands and would still like to sue the doctor and hospital there in civil court for my time, pain and suffering that dismissed me with no help after waiting in the ER for 8 hours. She was an uncaring sorry excuse for a doctor and needs to be selling cars or something else (will try and find her name and edit this post)ER was horrible, but to be fair, most of the Woodland hospitals' ERs are terrible

Awful. You will wait weeks for an appointment and in the meantime "they can't help you." So much for medical care. I've lived all over the country and been in Afghanistan and got better health care out of a 10' by 20' tent in the dessert than this facility has to offer. Don't waste your time. They're "too busy" for you.

If there was a zero star I would give it to this group. I took a day off for an appointment I scheduled last month with Dr Gray, Filled out paperwork online including COVID19 screening. Followed protocol, texed office when I arrived 11:02am, waited in the car, no response, texed again 11:04am, no response, still waiting I got a call about 11:26, was told to come in finally. I checked in, did temp check, proceeded to pay and was told that Dr Gray didn't have time to see me. Unprofessional, unacceptable! very disappointed and my daughter works for Methodist.

WARNING: I would like to start by saying, they were NOT helpful.I came in for a back injury and Could not walk, they made me walk out the clinic with no assistance. Which is INSANE. I CANNOT WALK. i give this whole institution a Negative ZERO. Go somewhere else.

Excellent staff. Dr Gray is incredible, it feels like she really listens and understands, always open to hearing you out before offering suggestions. In-house blood clinic got me my test results within just a couple of days. MyChart is an amazing tool to work with all Methodist clinics/hospitals.This is an effective and efficient team.

Have been going to The Methodist Primary on 2920 for almost 3 years now. Alicia the phlebotomist there is the best hands down. I had some health issues last year and had to have blood drawn from many different faculties. I must say Alicia is tops among them all easy.

This is a primary care group, and you won't be able to see your doctor when you would need the most. Every time I have been sick and was looking for an appointment, I did not find an available date until after at least 30 days (in the minimum). And this is true for all three doctors at this location. By the time you get to your appointed day, you' d be cured on your own. I called the office requesting a slot when I was sick on several occasions this year, and every time they asked me either to go to a day clinic (different location - Willowbrook and there again, you fight for an appointment as it must be made on the same day you want to be seen and the slots are filled up pretty quickly) or to an urgent care. I ultimately ended up going to urgent cares. This is certainly not what PCPs are meant for. Worst experience ever where you need to wait for 1-2 months even for a typical, seasonal sickness. For this reason, I could have rated this practice with 0 star. They should do something to accommodate their sick patients

I was pretty dissatisfied with my last appointment. August 20th - I had some pain in my chest, they order two test. Other than arthritic changes in my rib cage nothing else significant. I was told by Claudia on behalf of Dr Gray that it may be those changes that could the source of my pain. I asked for a referral to a gastroenterologist for which I was asked why by Claudia on behalf of Dr Gray. I didn't receive a referral. 2 months later having the same pain I found my own gastroenterologist that order a endoscopy. Come to find out I have GERD, small non bleeding ulcer, hiatal hernia, and possibly Barrets Esophagus pending pathology. Thank goodness I got second opinion and took my health seriously. I wont be back.

My first visit with this location yesterday 5/20/19 with Dr. Kimberly S Gray, MD, MPH and it was comforting meeting and having her as my healthcare provider. I believe her assistant Ms. Yolanda (sorry if I got the name wrong) knows about quality service. She treated me as a patient, not a number. As a new patient Dr. Gray inquired about my health issues and family history. Was detailed explaining concerns and gave me a worry-free feeling. The waiting area (lobby) is clean, comfortable and plenty room. TV just has them medical programs. Could use some good reading materials other than the medical news. Very satisfied and look forward to being part of Houston Methodist. Compliments to the young Lady helping me set up my initial appointment. Sorry, lost her name. Thank you, I appreciated the quality service and you handled the questioning marvelously. 5 stars to all Ray C

We are proud supporters of Houston Methodist!!! One of the few that accepts Medicaid. All medical records are easily accessible through the system! Made a new patient visit for my mom. I got an automated phone call confirmation and text message 4 days prior to appointment. This group practice follows strict laws under the American Disability Act. If patient needs interpreter and states English is not first language, it is THE LAW that you make doctor appointment requesting that, otherwise your appointment will be rescheduled! Glad they follow the law, but a few days in advance would have been appreciated!!! My mother got a call the day before visit. The practice need to stay on top and ensure this was clarified during scheduled appointment! We had to reschedule the following week! Needless to say, the front desk is friendly and attentive. Clean and spacious lobby. Dr. Wilson is professional and caring of my other's care! Glad to have found a new PCP!!!
