Hopefully it was just a bad day for the beer department manager. He was rude. Once I can handle. When you get to your third time of acting like me buying beer and asking questions is an inconvenience to you at 11am I’m done with your store. I left the beer sitting right there with him and walked out. Sadly I’d already found 4 I really wanted to buy. I will seek out another HEB and hope their stock is the same.
Avoid questions in the beer/wine department if they look busy restocking.

This store is easy to maneuver. It also has great coupon deals and plenty of items matching the coupons. The staff is friendly and helpful (everytime I go). I recommend this grocery experience.

As an out-of-towner who migrated to Houston, I must say I was very impressed by H-E-B. Their fresh groceries always stood out to me, and the bakery section is a personal favorite. I absolutely love their chicken salad sandwiches, which are a hit at Super Bowl parties and housewarming events. They’re delicious, filling, and affordable.
What first drew me to H-E-B was their cakes. We celebrate a lot of birthdays, and H-E-B provides budget-friendly, beautifully designed cakes for every occasion—whether it’s pictures, emojis, football themes, or any other design. The bakery team is fantastic at working with customers to bring their ideas to life. If they don’t have a design on hand, they listen to your vision and are honest about what they can achieve. More often than not, their creativity and skill exceed expectations.
A highlight of their service, is that THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME. If I needed a cake for a party at 1 PM and scheduled to pick it up by 12 PM, it was ready and perfect every time. This punctuality is especially crucial when you’re on a time crunch for events.
A big thank you to the H-E-B bakery staff for their incredible service and dedication!

On several occasions I have requested that the store put out more quartered watermelon. You put out alot of cubed and sliced watermelon, but very seldom are there quartered melons available. Last evening I was at the Riley Fuzzel location and you had sliced and cubed watermelons in 4 different locations! Not a quartered melon in sight. Since the quartered melons seem to sell out faster, I believe it would be worthwhile for you to have more available.

Watch out when ordering for delivery or pick up. For some reason when ordering cheese empanadas they immediately substituted for beef empanadas. Just does not make sense to me. And the supervisor I called could not make that make sense either.

Great location. Always clean every time I come and super organized. The staff is usually always helpful and friendly. They also always have hot food ready to go if you're on your lunch break!
