I have spent countless $$$ over the last few years at this store but have had two bad experiences in a row. First, the Ace Hardware website lists the Sunday closing time as 6pm. I was very rudely treated when I showed up at 5pm and they wouldn't even hear me out about letting their owner's know about the bad info on the website. Second, they wouldn't even exchange some inexpensive plumbing parts towards a much larger purchase today. The receipt does say returns have to be within 30 days but who would think it includes exchanges? I was told that it is the owner's policy and there are no exceptions. It makes the extra 10 minute drive to Home Depot or Lowes much more worth it.

Nice hardware cheaper than Lowes and Home Depot. We drop by there to buy a paint thiner. The people are friendly.

I was so happy to get the service I needed so fast. I was in a big hurry and called ahead to make sure they had what I needed. They had it waiting for me by the register. Love to support locally owned franchises and it's so convenient.

It's great having a hardware store so close to home. Tonight I needed a new battery for my car key. I decided that rather than hassle Rayford I would check out Ace. So pleased that I did. The gentleman who helped me located the battery and replaced it for me. It was a lot more complicated than I would have thought. This was another example of why we should support local small businesses.
