I was on my way to purchase a gift card for my son but the store was closed. I had made sure i was there before it had closed at 6pm. I had made it there at 5:30pm a good 30 minutes before it closed but to my surprise is was closed

I am not sure if this message is targeted toward this store or the company period so I’ll just put it here. I made a deposit (check) yesterday and was told funds would be available one day and the rest another day. The the next day I was emailed that the availability of all funds would be available at a much later date. That entire email would have been just fine had the day prior I wasn’t told something completely different. That makes me feel like I can’t trust you in our relationship. When money is involved that is very important. When I was notified of this new information I went to this location to see what could be done. I wasn’t asking for anything in full I just wanted what was agreed upon when I made the deposit. Especially during a time like this. The check was a chase check. Chase is in the same parking lot. I could have cashed it and came back if they were honest about the hold on my check. The young lady didn’t really show any concern. Pretty much looked at the account, gave me the date the funds would be available and said “Have a good one”. I was at least looking for some empathy here. So, after this matter is handled I will no longer be a customer. I tried them simply because it made sense. I am always in Kroger but I’ll just go to Chase.
