I am here waiting outside for the family dollar to open. They are supposed to be open at 8am. It is now 8:18am and no one is around except for customers trying to get in. I am waiting because my daughter has a project and needs glue for her glue gun. Since Kroger's doesn't have it, the next place closest to me is family dollar because I know they have it. This is very bad customer service and whoever was supposed to open the doors needs to be fired.

The place is coming together slow. Just to many things in the aisle . I understand that there will be a lot of overstock, but you have to be very cautious where you step.

Poor management...went to return some batteries I bought today and the employee working counter told me no return on batteries. There wasn't a manager in store.

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED... I WENT TO THIS STORE AROUND 1PM TODAY TO BUY A SNACK AND AT 3PM MY BENEFITS WERE NO LONGER ON MY CARD....

Very helpful on walking me through the steps of starting my cash app a little bit behind with the whole technology of money apps they did not laugh nor judge me for being so behind with apps and cell phone technology. before I got my smartphone I had a jitterbug flip phone. that was just two weeks ago LOL!

Items priced wrong and the manager Mellissa has terrible customer service basically argued that it does not matter if they have wrong prices for items if it is food they are not going to refund. Even if it is 100% wrong doing on stores part and you have not left the store. I don’t mean one item I mean the whole section was wrongly priced. No one ever apologized. She said it doesn’t matter and the next time they will not fix their issue, THAT I SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAYING MORE ATTENTION WHEN I WAS BEING CHECKED OUT. Not that it was a mistake and that she should have been paying attention while stocking. There is a way to speak to people when you don’t like your job too. It’s not my first time at this location and Mellissa is never friendly but this was just horrible customer service. I actually thought at some point she was not going to finish my transaction and was just done. Then she just basically walked away with me still standing there waiting for a new receipt or just anything to let me know things were now ok. I stood there as she walked away to another associate and eventually looked over and said your done. She had to walk back over to lay the receipt down on the counter. I was shopping there like everyday but clearly I shouldn’t be going in there at all because that blew me. Customer service skills are important no matter where you are working. After reviewing the receipt I see she has the refund in as I did not want the items. Not that the prices were incorrect. I wanted my items.

Being a corporate trainer, Family Dollar needs to either start a class on customer relations or overhaul the one they have in place. That goes from corporate to frontline employees.

Walked in to really do some shopping so that ment I needed a shopping cart. They had no shopping carts ? so I go looking for a basket. No baskets ! So I say to the guy..... you guys don't have shopping carts or baskets? He says nope . So I say you must not want people to shop here . He looks at me and smiled. So I left and went to another store. Sad part is there's some really good workers there. ?
