Beware of the recent 'loan' advertising they're putting out. It's not what they say it is. I was interested in a consolidation loan; I have an excellent job with years of superb payment history. I only need to lighten the monthly load so I can continue to help my daughter through school. They stated income to debt was the denial reason. My response was, 'well, isn't that the point?'When I asked what the deciding factor was, she said, "They approve on a case-to-case basis." That's not an answer.Final result? They hurt my credit score from the hard-hit while showing a non-approved loan app.Bottom line? They hurt your financial health, not help it. Look to an institution willing to start a great financial relationship. This isn't it.

I have money in my account but cannot get access to it until the financial institution opens on Monday. I called the fake 800 number, I say fake because they cannot help you, you have to wait for banking hours which are limited on Saturday and closed on Sunday. I need groceries and gas TODAY! How embarrassing to have this happen at Walmart. This is bad practice for a bank! Why would I have no access to my money with my debit card?? I will be removing all funds from this trash bank on Monday. I have a checking and a savings. But at this point, I will have to contact my local church for food since I cannot access my funds until Monday. I will tell everyone to bank elsewhere because you cannot access the hard earned money you have worked for and trusted 5 point to take care of.

I would recommend 5Point Credit Union to anybody needing financial services. I’ve been a member several years and they have always met my financial needs.

Created account online was accepted, went to nearest location to get debit card was told they had to cancel my account because I live more than 10miles from Conroe but I am not. When you search my address it shows either willis or conroe, tx and we pay utilities to City of Conroe. This was a waste of time and now I have to wait to get my money back from opening the account.

Stopped by without an appointment to inquire about account options. I was greeted by a very friendly team upon entering and sat down with McKenzie. McKenzie was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable of the services offered by the credit union. I proceeded with opening an account and depositing funds. During the process I had many questions, after all you are handling some of my Financials but McKenzie was very patient and more than willing to assist. Such a wonderful team at 5point Credit Union and excellent service. Their interest rates on investment accounts are also very competitive. Stop by and say hi to McKenzie and look st your financial options, I think you will be very impressed.

They offered me a credit card and years later I found out the card was collateral backed by my vehicle if that is not the definition of a loan shark I don’t know what is it’s just the point of why hide something like that no way would I have signed for a credit card they offered if it basically brought together another possession of mine

Only bank I know that will send you two different statements balances then say it’s your fault your behind because you went off the wrong amount....yes you read that correctly

I can’t say enough amazing things about the employees here. They have truly gone above and beyond with everything thing they do. I took a chance on a small credit union and it was the best decision ever!
