I complained about the water fountain being nasty. They cleaned it. I'm happy now. Thank you.

Have been working out here for 20+ years. Zero complaints. The club manager is great.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding an incident that occurred at your 24 Hour Fitness location on July 6th, 2024, around 5:30 PM. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an African American male, approximately 265 pounds, who informed me that I could not use my free guest pass because my photo ID was from North Carolina rather than Texas.
The email I received from 24 Hour Fitness clearly stated:
“Thanks for requesting a free pass to 24 Hour Fitness. We're excited to welcome you into the club! Don’t forget to bring a photo ID and the web confirmation code below to show to a team member when you arrive. We’ll also activate the premium workouts and features in our 24GO® app for the duration of your pass – bring your phone to take advantage of studio class reservations, audio coaching, and hundreds of video workouts to help you get the most from your experience.”
At no point did the email specify that the photo ID needed to be from Texas. Given that 24 Hour Fitness operates in multiple locations nationwide, it seems unreasonable to require a state-issued ID from Texas specifically. This requirement was not communicated in any of the correspondence I received, and I believe I was refused entry on unjust grounds.
Moreover, when I called this location, I was informed that my child could not use the gym if he was not 13 years old. However, another 24 Hour Fitness location stated that the age requirement for children to use the gym is 12. This inconsistency in policy between locations is confusing and misleading.
During our visit, which would not have occurred had we been properly informed about the ID requirement, my son needed to use the bathroom. The same staff member refused to allow my son to use the bathroom, stating that only members could use the facilities. This is particularly concerning given that I had an email confirmation for a free guest pass, which should have granted us temporary access.
I feel that my family and I were unfairly treated and possibly discriminated against. I request an investigation into the practices and policies at this location to ensure that other guests do not face similar issues.

This place is filthy. Smells like body odor 1/2 the time. You can see sweat drips on top of dust on top of more sweat drips on most the treadmills. Yesterday I complained about a urinal overflowing in the men’s room and today it’s still overflowing. They just don’t care. If I didn’t already habe a pre paid lifetime membership I would go elsewhere.

It’s alright. I prefer the woodlands location but I don’t work out there anymore so now I go to this one. This one is not 24hrs like the woodlands. They close at 8 on Friday Saturday and Sunday which I work until 8 those days and Im usually the type to workout after work, so I haven’t been going as much as a should due to that. I’m trying to change my schedule to go beforehand but it’s a lot and after has always been easier for me. Anyways, it’s alright. I think the woodlands spoiled me a little bit. The lighting makes it a more dim and blegh ambiance. There’s no stretching bar thing, and the grass area where I like to stretch is right in front of all the treadmills annd stair masters and they’re all facing it. And as a woman, that just makes me severely uncomfortable, because you do certain poses when stretching that I feel uncomfortable doing when there are people running behind me and looking straightforward which is where I am. Just really feels like you’re on display. Also, way less accessories equipment wise. And my favorite treadmill, the star trac, they only have 3 of and the middle one turns off every time you try and change the speed. Which is SUPER annoying mid run. I really like the star trac because you can connect your Apple Watch so it gets a more accurate heart beat, and pace from the machine, so the results I’m getting in total are more accurate since it’s two different machines measuring and combining results. But if the two are taken, I just end up walking on the middle one until someone is done. The QR code scanners when entering are only on one side of the counter. So if you walk in through one entrance, you have to walk all the way to the other side, then back around if you’re going to the women’s locker room cause it’s on the OTHER side. That’s being nitpicky but there really should be one on both rather than two on the same side. They don’t have a huge selection of classes either. Overall, it gets the job done, but isn’t a place I’m excited to go to. I’m EXCITED to go to the woodlands location. The workers are good. No problems on that front.

How come the machines are always broken here and never fixed. We know the chain went into bankruptcy a few years ago. I guess they don't have the money to repair the machines, and those that are at the front desk are just puppets and yes people that are afraid to tell corporate that their gym is falling apart.

The gym is definitely my favorite in the area. The staff is awesome. But the bathrooms need serious love.

The men's locker room is absolutely disgusting. Completely neglected, and as of Saturday, their weekend hours changed and are apparently opening at 8 am instead of 6am. The machines are worn, the walls are tearing off, and their staff cares very little. They also reduced their classes as well. I think the owner or whomever is just milking it for everything they can and don't care for the patrons. This place is going downhill fast. You should look to another gym as I am.
