I was looking for some doors to fit a space that wasn’t easy to install. He was very helpful in giving me different options and styles. He also gave me contact info for someone to install them. Both of them were very professional during the whole process and over all a great experience.

John came highly recommended by our interior designer, Simply Elegant Interiors for his past work with wood sliding doors & custom wood furniture. We hired him to build our sliding office doors & we were very pleased with the manufacture, stain & install. We found John to be professional, knowledgeable & affordable. We recently decided to contact John again about a wood buffet cabinet for our foyer are looking forward to his ideas & advice on how to achieve the Coastal look we want.

Just picked up my farmhouse table a few days ago and I can’t say enough about how pleased I am. It is a beautiful table, very well-made, and I am so excited to have it. Communication was good. Pick up was easy. Thank you so much. **The chairs are a work in progress**

The work and design is not bad and reasonable pricing. But the service could improve. For starters, when setting a deadline stick to or at least be communicative about changes. I had to keep reaching out about status updates because he wouldn't. Instead, I got excuses about his work, lack of help or whatever else that came up in the conversation. In a nutshell, it took about a 1mo & 1/2 from beginning to end.I sent pictures over, but there are other pieces of information that should be communicated when placing the order. Such as, if there are any items or things blocking where the door will open & close, will a lock/handle be needed, etc. I ordered a kit from amazon needed for the door to slide, as well as a handle and latch for both sides. What I didn't buy or know about were additional items needed for the base of the door to keep the door from pushing out. So when the door opens it swings a bit forward. On the day of installation the installer told me that would need to be ordered separately. When I did and asked the guy about installing it he became unresponsive. Now I'm left with a swinging door & having to spend more money to hire another installer.Overall I think the ordering process could greatly be improved and perhaps have better installers that install not just the door but everything needed so the door will function appropriately.

My husband ordered me some custom barn doors from here and they turned out beautiful! Our friends ordered doors after seeing ours. The man who set up our doors was also wonderful and improvised where needed during installation. We will be ordering again.

We ordered a year ago and have been very pleased with the finished product. John was also helpful in getting precise measurements needed for the space. Ordering and payment was easy and door was complete on time. Delivery was arranged and install all done with no issues. I have recommended Splendora Custom Wood to many of my friends and neighbors. Hope to use again soon for another project! Thanks!!

I would not recommend Splendora Customwood. Buyer beware. While Mr. John is a nice man I have had a terrible experience working with him. I order my doors in July .. paid for everything on time. He missed the deadline and said he didn't have enough help. I was understanding. I did not get my door installed until October and one of the doors was two inches two short. When I let him know he said he would make another one which took several months. We agreed that he should pay the installer to replace the door when it came time he said he could not pay and if I wanted my door I would have to pay the installer myself. After much back and forth with John and the installer I agreed to pay for it myself. The installer comes today with the door and it is the correct size but it was painted the wrong color. Like I cannot win with him. Honestly save yourself the headache or you might end up paying for more than you bargained for.

Works was decent. Communication and customer service is horrible. Time quotes for completion was extended. Blames the customer for his mistakes (have proof of all this) and then wants to tell the customer they are a pain in the a**. Doors show up with a subpar paint job??♂️ and wants to pass fault onto his helper and “he” has to redo the work that is why it took longer for completion. I do not recommend doing business with this person.

They have built 2 doors for me. This company does great work, the quality is top notch, and the cost is fair! You get a lot of good value. This company is also extremely responsive. I will continue to use Splendora amd recommend there services to others.

This company is very professional . They are responsive and answered all questions I had , walked me through measurements. It was a very easy process ordering from them . It took 3 weeks from placing order to delivery and installation. The doors are beautiful everything I envisioned and more . Quality and craftsmanship is magnificent. The installer they recommended was very professional and took his time to make sure everything was perfect before leaving . Thank you so much -Shelly Miller

we had such a great experience! there was constant communication, I was always being updated on the process a d he was always completely honest about the situation! the doors are great quality and look absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for better end product or person to work with! The Installers the he suggested were also amazing. they took their time and got them done perfectly! 100% recommend!
