22012 Odell Fairway Trail, SpicewoodWe have been coming here since about 2 years or so. We brought in a stray cat to be healed and rescued due to some sort of injury. He found us to take help him. He was in pain and not well and unable to eat or walk. We decided to name him since he chooses us to help him. We named the cat ginger. Unfortunately ginger there was nothing we could have done to save him. So we unfortunately had to put ginger down that day. The staff explained the things in why we couldn’t save him and what was the cause for his injury. Liked the experience and how well they treated me and helped me during the process.
Since from their I decided to have them as my main vet care for my 2 dogs during the time that I adopted them (2 years ago). Lyla and sugarbear are always happy to come in to see Dr. Morgan. Lyla could be there all day if she could sugarbear on the other hand doesn’t like the injections but he is well behaved. Both of my dogs are well take care of, loved during their check ups.
Their service that they provide is great. The spayed and neutered are not bad in price yet provide very well procedure in how to prepare before/after the spayed and neuter.
They explain things very well in detail yet in a way one can understand the visit.
They do have a clean and tidy up desk and rooms as well. Beautiful rooms, clean, yet comfortable.
Definitely happy in switching to this vet form what I had before in marble falls.

I really appreciate that they provide live camera footage, which made it easy (and fun) to check in on her playtime. The facility is always very clean, and I could see the staff taking care to clean up every day. It’s clear they truly care about the dogs, and I feel very comfortable bringing Mila back here. Highly recommend!

He is very knowledgeable my Dad and I were very impressed with him. The burger and fries were amazing. Had a Nowadays cocktail (IYKYK) the cani-rita. So good. The atmosphere is so chill. Large kids area, tons of screens at the bar, and now I gotta go back to try the frito pie.

The place is super kid-friendly with plenty of seating, and there was even a day market going on while we were there. Everyone was so friendly, and the weather made it even better!

4514 Bob Wire Rd, SpicewoodAs a Baroness of impeccable taste, I must say 5 Soul Wine Co. nearly transported me back to my ancestral estate. The sweeping Hill Country vista is divine; the only thing missing is my family’s castle perched dramatically upon a cliff. I’ll allow it.
The firepits are delightfully toasty, perfect for holding court with one’s companions. And while they offer pickleball courts (for those who enjoy such… athletic displays), I personally prefer to observe from a safe, sip-in-hand distance. It's far more regal that way.
The staff? Positively charming. Friendly, attentive, and entirely unfazed by my insistence on addressing them as “my good sir” or “milady.” A rare talent.
Now, the food trucks deserve their very own title of nobility. The Bavarian pretzel is to die for — nearly as good as the ones from my homeland, and I’ve been assured it contains absolutely zero calories. I chose to believe this without question, as all true aristocrats do.
Dog lovers, rejoice. The grounds are wonderfully dog-friendly, allowing even non-designer breeds to roam freely among the common folk. And should you be so fortunate as to encounter the house doodle, you may be treated to his singular party trick: a rather impressive spin. I applauded, of course.
In summary: exquisite views, delightful wine, charming company, and a pretzel worthy of a royal decree. Five stars. I shall return with haste, and possibly a tiara.

It cost less than fast food and unbeatable quality…also the friendliest people. Need to make sure they have reason to keep this lunch service going! Check em out! They don’t have a separate listing for the truck and it’s hours so just call the regular number for a carry out order, or stop by between 11-2 most days. 10/10

Poodies Hilltop Roadhouse
22308 State Hwy 71, SpicewoodAmazingly located rustic roadside bar with views of the surounding hill county. They have numerous bar stools, tables, and outdoor patios, including terraces to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. They have stages inside and outside hosting several acts per week beneath a Texas flag or the Texas sky. Also a great place to sip a lone star while watching the cowboys win.
No bad days here.
They have a large free parking lot behind the building.
