we rescued our puppy, the rescue agency had all of the puppies information, our pup had a few health issues. we took him over there about 6 times in all, 4 weeks. All the issues were taken care of, he is a healthy pup now. However, they never let us speak to the vet with questions. and even more importantly, when we would ask the front office staff questions, a few of the girls were very rude! We will not go back. they treated our pup, he's good.. but we don't think they treated us in a manor that was professional.

Do not take your pets to this overpriced nightmare of a place. It took me 2 years to write this and I’ll never get over their oversight and lack of accountability and quite frankly victim blaming. I will be 100% honest and the reason I went there was bc my partner had worked there and they were nice enough to extend his discount. What I did not think would happen is them forgetting on multiple occasions to give or even mention medications. One dog was dead and the other left paralyzed after a routine dental. Gerri is a garbage human and I hope she’s fired. (She no doubt hasn’t been because that would mean training someone new and lord knows they don’t have time or money for that.) I don’t care to go into it all but if you read and care for your pet, go elsewhere. They’re gonna say I’m disgruntled, probably a go to for them. I am not the only one who’s had issues and Gerri not only blamed me but after I said I wasn’t bringing the one back she sent me a letter asking us to not return. Intentionally trying to add insult to injury. This place is deplorable. I would also like it noted even with everything that happened I never cursed or berated the staff.Go anywhere else!

I used to really like this practice for both vet service and grooming and just left after being a customer for several years. Since covid, Dr. Holbrook hasn't seen owners in person when you have an appointment, nor does he call to go over the results of his examination and/or tests. Now that my dog is 14, I have wanted regular exams and care of her. I've had to figure out what to request and decipher what comes back after an exam. My dog is in kidney failure and all they told me was that the geriatric panel that I requested came back with that finding and to switch her food. When I asked what stage, they couldn't tell me. They don't do blood work with regular exams unless you ask in advance--which means it's another visit and additional $ because I didn't know this and aren't allowed to be present during the exam. After switching to a different veterinary practice today and seeing that doctor in person, I now fully realize what care my dog has been missing by staying with Park Place. I wish we had changed way before this. With regard to the groomer, Tracy, my dog always came out looking pretty but had to be left there for several hours. Drop off for grooming is between 7 and 9 am and you get them back anywhere between 1 and 6 pm unless you pay for express (and she only takes 1 of these a day). This practice services a lot of rescue groups and I honor them for that and wanted to support them for that reason too. But it's just gotten too chaotic and not seeing the doctor in person is a deal breaker. Would not recommend at all.

We are so grateful for the team at this hospital for supporting "Recycled Poms" A nonprofit that helps Pomeranians who need a second chance. Their support makes it possible. Nina, ( I am a foster with them! we are always looking for more!)

Excellent service! My dog got bit at doggy daycare and I called Park Place and got an immediate appointment. As soon as I walked in the door, they took my dog to the back, cleaned the wound and stapled it, and filled his medication, in house, all in 40 minutes. You guys are the best!

We have been seeing this vet for the past 2 years. My dog has severe anxiety and had a very rough past. They have given me so many recommendations and have adapted his medications so many times to fit his needs. My dog is the happiest he has ever been now and I know it’s because of the amazing care from Park Place Pet Hospital!! I could not recommend them enough!!

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received today and as I was so vehemently yelled at " don't bring your dogs back here" by Megan (dark hair face piercings)I will NEVER be back.I adopted my Shih-Tzu's from a rescue and because I wanted to keep whatever I could in their lives constant I never changed their care because if I could provide them with that consistency I wanted to do that.Trying to keep this as precise as possible I have two dogs (one is white and one is brown) The brown dog had an eye ulcer after a weekend stay with a friend I took him in and they gave him meds and then he got one in the other eye and I took him back. They stained his eye said oh yeah this can happen but just use his meds on his eye. I noticed a puss pocket actually on his eyeball and asked them about it they were like no it's just from the stain it will be okay so I watched it but I knew something was wrong sent and email with pics and no one respond or even cared apparently. I immediately made him an appointment with an ophthalmologist and good thing I I did it was a melting eye ulcer that was moving really fast and had gotten deep in a matter of hours but we managed to stop it and he was healing slowly but had a hole in his eye as a result as it was continuing to heal. Fast forward I decided to get him and his brother groomed as I had held it off as long as a could because I wanted his eye to heal as much as possible. I made note he has a small hole be careful with it but he's fine. Then I go to pick him up and now that small opening has a red blood clot in it that was not there when I dropped him off. I was then told by Megan oh he was like that when I dropped him off, please note I didn't drop my dog off to her so how would she know and it wasn't like that. She kept yelling at me he's eyes were matted which also wasn't true. I informed her just because she keeps saying it doesn't mean it's true. She kept yelling at me and asking did I have pictures of how he looked before (which I did from a few weeks ago) and kept saying well that was weeks ago so that doesn't mean anything. I asked her was she new because I had NEVER seen her there before and I had been going there for years to which she replied I've been here six months and then told me to never bring my dogs back there; after which she then ripped my white dog from the technicians hands (as she was holding my other dog and I examined my brown dog) and told her don't hold her dog. At that point every employee went to the back and I was left alone up front. Luckily customers came in so they had to come back out and a friend who I adopted my dog from walked in and vouched for me about how well I take care of my dogs. At that point I was able to ask the ladies name.No one apologized or even seemed to care how rude this lady was, the fact that I have been a consistent paying customer (always paid in full upon service) for YEARS meant ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I am so devastated with how I was treated and how my dog who was fine when I dropped him off is now crying and in pain and may have to have eye surgery which I was able to avoid previously because of how well I had taken care of his eye. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!! I am writing a complaint every where I can. Somebody is supposed to call me on Tuesday about this incident and I will update this review of that when and if it happens and the result of it.

I have to say I was pretty disappointed with my experience here. I brought my girls in to be spayed with this being the only place I could bring them due to my adoption contract with the rescue.I was shocked to see that so much of what my regular vet considers normal wasn't included and was an extra fee. Fluids, pain management injection, cone.... So with the spay included in the adoption I still ended up having to pay almost $300 for what they consider to be extras. When I arrived to pick the girls up they brought them out and one of my girls had 2 prescriptions and the other only one. I asked why and they made it seem as though I should have gotten a call to explain. No one called me. I'd had to call to check on my girls. Turns out they think one of the girls may have a clotting disorder. It would have been nice to hear this from the vet and have more details. I never even had the opportunity to meet the vet.Thankful that after they get their stitches out we can do any future visits our regular vet that I've taken my other pets to for years.
