First and last time to go there. No customer service. Nobody could help me find a tree. They just tell you they are in the back.

Zero Customer service! I came here with a friend, a few days ago looking for a tree. When we got to the front door, there was an employee standing outside and we said hello. There was no response. Instead the man stood there looking at us like we had no business being there. When we walked in, there was a lady standing at the register. She greeted us with her back turned (she wasn't helping anyone at her register) As we walked to the back, we passed yet another employee who just walked on by like we weren't there. There were literally only three customers (including us) in the entire place. We stayed in there about ten minutes looking at trees, most of them with no names to identify what species they were, and not one price tag on any of them. Not to mention, no one came to even offer any help. So we just left. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend going there, Unless you know about plants and know what you're looking for. Even then, I still wouldn't tell anyone to go there.

Poor customer service. Upon arrival at around 3pm on a weekday we were the only customers and about 4 visible employees two were tending plants two were just talking, and not one of them offered us assistance. Then, we asked about a price and we were literally told “it’s on the pot go look”, by one employees. Now, to be fair another employee rushed in to rectify and gave the price. Please note, we looked on 10 different pots of discounted shrubs for a price and we could not find anything. Next we noticed many of the plants look stressed except the ferns and rose of Sharon I just assumed it was the Texas heat . Because no nursery in Tarrant county from Lowe’s to Calloway’s had ever sold me a spider mite infested plant. For those who may not know they are microscopic in beginning until the do their damage. Which is why nurseries need to properly clean, prep, organically spray etc.
Now I nursed both plants because I said hey, let’s give them the benefit of the doubt, and one is thriving but crazy amount of work and sanitation of clothing gear and tools. Oh and side note, new lesson to self, spray everything with captain jacks before you put in the Mercedes…Lol . But for real y’all do it ! I have been mitigated an infestation in my front and curbside bed ever since I came home with those infested Rose of Sharon from this nursery. I saved one but the other I will have to remove today while still weekly spraying everything around where it was.
When I called to inform this happened and asked if they would be willing to refund just the fully dead one at least, (ideally both for all the drama) I got a response that had nada to do with the question. The response was “we have never heard of this nothing here like that sir”. I kindly stated that’s not the question the question is are you willing to refund the plant that died from being infested at your nursery? And I got a big no. The community that shops locally is typically crazy honest, not a “plant ambulance chaser,” and the prior reviews and his shady tone suggest otherwise. In short save your time and money, I’m a local realtor, homeowner satisfaction is my thing ! Be well y’all !

Mike’s is a solid, locally-owned garden center that has better pricing, selection, and quality than the big box stores. There is an especially wide variety of fruits, veggies, & herbs and shrubs & trees. Customer service is usually good and they can help find plants that best fit your needs.

Poor customer service. Wildly over priced product. $17 for a 1 gal perineal is absolutely wild. Purchased the same 1 gal perineal at archies the next day for $9. Poor customer service. No staff in sight. Stood at the register waiting to pay for 15 mins. Employee comes in through the front with a convenience store bag with not even a hello or apology. Half the greenhouse looked diseased too. Will not be returning here.

When arriving, I saw a rack of hardy hibiscus in front. In addition, 25% off signs were everywhere, so I asked the cashier if that included hardy hibiscus. "Yes" was the response I got. After getting 4 different kinds of hardy hibiscus, I was then rejected the discount when checking out. The older female cashier was easy to talk to, but a male employee rang us up. He was extremely rude. All of the plants were already pricey, so the 25% off justified the purchase for me. After being declined the sale, I just left.

I buy all my vegetable seedlings here in the spring, from okra to tomatoes to peppers. They have tomatoes (celebrity) for fall planting too, which is great. They're reasonably priced also.

Splurged on fountain, bench, plants, and college statuary recently for Mother's Day 2024. Luis is very helpful in the sales department and Mario installed and delivered in a timely manner. Paul (store manager) fixed some minor issue I had and I'm very happy with the outcome. Mike's Garden Center is a gem! Highly recommended.

GREAT PLANT STORE. Lots of quality plants thriving in the sun and partial shade. Everything you will need to grow your plants and vegetables.
Only drawback is that today (04/12/24) they were out of their homemade soil. Kinda odd to me for this time of year.
Everyone that works here is friendly and as helpful as possible. Even the kitty cats will help you give them a petting.
