Matt will absolutely waste no time in speaking to you like you are beneath him, and doesn't seem to care when he is told he is offending you. I'm not going to elaborate, becaus I'm certain that regardless of whatever I say here he is going to reply with snark and a condescending attitude. Just be very careful when considering this lender. He will treat you awfully if you don't just go along with what he wants.Edit after closing: when dealing with Matt he told me that the closing amounts that a competing lender was offering me were impossible and that "the numbers won't look anything like they do now when all is said and done." He assure me that his rates were the best available. He was very wrong. I saved myself over $7k at closing and the final numbers were actually better than expected when we came to closing. Please, do not trust this man. You will overpay. Shop around for your mortgage.

Just over a year ago Matt and his team handled a new mortgage for our retirement home. We are so impressed with the entire process his team provides. As interest rates came down Matt called to say that a refi might be in order. He got us a lower rate and closed in only 15 days. Communications with his staff was clear and concise; totally transparent; competitive interest rates and the lowest fees we've seen. Matt is wonderful and a mortgage saver. After Wells Fargo collapsed all over themselves and causing another unpleasant experience for my buyer, he was able to save the day. I have gone through the home buying process 6 times since buying my first home over 20 years ago. This was by far the smoothest process that we have ever experienced, spite not being in an ideal situation to buy a home this time around. Matt and his team are knowledgeable, friendly and do not waste any time getting you through the process. We were given clear expectations from the beginning in regards to timing, paperwork and even the amount of money that we would need to close. Literally, everything worked out as we were told. We have been stuck renting for the past 4 or 5 years and are very thankful for everything that Matt and his team did to get us back into our own home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Being a first time home buyer, naturally I was terrified! And unfortunately, started the process with a "reputable" lender that was dragging their heels in every sense of the meaning. After feeling defeat I was put in contact with Matt and let me just tell you his team is the real deal. Matt walked me through the process on what to expect once I found a house I wanted to make an offer on. From start to closing the process was 21 days and could not have gone any smoother! They made the process stressfree! Not only were they always communicating with me and my realtor, they always let me know when to expect a call/email, who would be reaching out and what it was in regard to. Matt and his team were absolutley amazing in helping my wife and me get the mortgage on our house. We were moving to Texas from Colorado and my wife and her son were literally on their way to Texas when another company informed us that they could not complete the loan. We were in panic mode, well my wife wasn't because I had not had the chance to tell her yet but I was able to find Matt and explain the situation to him. He immediately got started, pre approving my wife and I on her drive down. I never realized how easy a VA loan could be and im sure it wasn't but he sure made it seem that way. Though we did have to push the close date back a little bit but the other company told us no the day before we closed leaving a very tight crunch. 20 days after speaking with Matt we were in our new house and we love it. I can not possibly imagine a better experience and I am very grateful to Matt and his team.
