Christmas is here and bills are piling up, however I knew I could borrow against my 401k to help with rent. I got an eviction notice and called fidelity to request a hardship withdrawal on 11.27.23. It is now 12.11.23 and I still don't have my money. When I call they say your money was sent by check, when I entered my direct deposit info they still sent it by check. The agents say they can't stop the check and reissue my money by direct deposit. It has been about 3 weeks and now I'm in jeopardy of loosing my home. They say the mail is slow...no problems from Amazon or family members sending stuff for Christmas, so that excuse doesn't fly with me. I just need my money. I am beyond frustrated with this company and just need my money!!

Agree with Another client’s comment here about the rudeness, misinformation and I would add lack of commitment to clients by the highest level of Southlake office staff. The “advisor” was not even close to being “great” which was the description in the “off the cuff” thought blurted by a 6 year staff person to describe the incoming advisor. Between the two of them it was like “pulling teeth” trying to “work with them”, it was definitely a big mistake to walk in that door expecting anything close to “great”. They expected us to serve ourselves completely with our “managed private client account”. Hope this helps create positive change.

Stopped by to deposit a check at new location around the corner from previous location. Friendly and quick service. Like the more relaxed office lobby.

I was thrilled to open my account today and speak with someone about Fidelity. Unfortunately, I was greeted rudely over the phone and the gentlemen over the phone was unprofessional and gave incorrect information about this location. I found this out after calling and taking my business to a different location.

Fidelity has completely dropped of the charts. There once was good customer service but I'm assuming they're trying to maximize their own profits by hiring cheaper and fewer "customer service" agents. 35 minute hold times and I got three different answers from three different people to the same very specific detailed question. Completely worthless.

I have using my cell phone and office phone. Office phone 30+ minutes and cell 20 minutes, different numbers. I have tried before and just give up. So I am here hoping other give up also, so I can talk to someone. There message stating my call is very important to them is very annoying.

I've had a fidelity account for years and always worked with the Dallas office. I recently had a simple question about a financial transaction. I spent 20 minutes on hold Friday then was cut off because they closed. Today I was on hold for 30 minutes until I finally hung up. Needless to say, I'm getting my money out of here. If you can't trust your financial institution to answer a question, you shouldn't trust them with your money. The cable company answers the phone faster!

They were basically closed when I went. One person at a time could enter and speak with a representative on a monitor. Unless you have paperwork to drop off, you are wasting time and gas by driving there. Fidelity is awesome though so still gets 5 star rating from me.

I agree, a joke. So ill handled and lost my fax with all my personal information. Still no accountability. I was completely ignored. Please don't do business with them. Especially someone with the initials B.H.
