This is a great hiking spot with mostly quiet surroundings. I'm going to come back again and check out some other trails.

Lovely, natural preserve with trails. Hope it stays in tact and remains a protected refuge.

Absolutely loved this hike! There was a cool tree swing at about halfway through. Horses and pets are allowed on the trail. So, if piles of poo in the middle of the trail are not your thing, this is not the trail for you. As for me and my husband, we had a super fun hike!
Bob Jones Nature Center and Preserve is an oasis from the bustle of DFW life and is a safe haven for wildlife and humans alike. Over 1,100 species of flora and fauna have been identified on the 758 acres of Cross Timbers ecosystem that is the Preserve.
