Today was my first time walking into a Bluemercury store. I had heard great things about the products they sell and was curious as I had been running low on my skincare and needed to restock. When I entered there weren’t any other customers inside and I was greeted by Alexis. I told her that I was looking for some new moisturizer and after looking me up and down, she asked what my price range was. I found that odd as she didn’t ask first my skin type, or any other questions pertaining to skincare. When I told her the price range that I usually purchase at, she pointed to one brand and mentioned that it was really all that fell into my price range as everything else was more “high end”. The pretentiousness in her tone was very obvious. In the past I have worked many years in cosmetics and I would never speak to a customer that way. It came across very judgmental and to be frank, it seemed as if I was being profiled. I walked out without purchasing a thing, that behavior is unacceptable and I would never spend money in a place that treats people that way. They lost a potential customer and one start is too generous for the behavior I experienced today.

Great first visit with Jasmine showing specific product items and brands for my needs. I requested some samples to try out and was given generously with a mini bag. Her knowledge on peeling and glowing skin was on point. Couldn’t have a better experience.

Just stood in the store for 20 minutes waiting to be helped, the staff greeted every customer that came in after me and helped them. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with Blue Mercury over the years. Incredibly rude to never be acknowledged.

I have never in my life done a negative review. I called and set an appointment with their manager Kaitlin for a make over using Jane Iredale make up line. I have used this line for about 10 years and love the natural line with spf. When I arrived I was ask to wait as she Kaitlin was helping another middle age lady, like myself. Not a problem. Kaitlin immediately started telling me what she does not like about the Jane Iredale line and wanted to sell me another line, yet I specifically ask for this line. I thought how poor of a manager to speak poorly about a line you carry in your store. I told her I like the line because it was natural and I did not want to wear my make up as heavy as she did but wanted the spf. Kaitlin was now offended that I did not like her make up and proceeded to say she would now have another sales rep assist me. Kaitlin should never be a manager and Jane Iredale should pull their product.BTW...go to Corinthian Wells spa in Southlake for Jane Iredale professional help! Great service and knowledge

Bridget is absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, very In tune with what my wants and needs were. Showed me additional products but not too many. All the while helping me she managed to deliver great service to the other guests in the store.I will definitely be back!

Yesterday April 6th I drove to Blue Mercury in SOUTHLAKE after seeing on Google that the store was open until 8pm. I walked in ( door was unlocked) at 7:37pm. I was going to get the Trish Mcevoy Tubular Mascara ( I have heard it is amazing.)!! I went immediately to the Trish Mcevoy area and grabbed the mascara. As i was heading to the checkout counter the young lady working said " I'm sorry but we closed at 7". I explained that Google says they are open until 8pm. She said I'm sorry but we are closed. I asked if I could just get the mascara and she said No. I don't understand how you turn away a customer who is already in the store and ready to checkout. No cool.

Please correct your store hours in google, I arrived at 6:45 and they were closing, when in this app said they close at 7:00 pm

Placed a curbside pickup but ended up walking in the store. Jasmine was helpful, knowledgeable and so sweet. She took the time to explain a few products to me. I will definitely go back!

They send your receipt via email. I would recommend checking prior to leaving the store. I was overcharged!
