Gym has gone downhill since covid. It's so dirty, I have never seen an employee cleaning anything. They likely don't get paid enough to care, which is why it's always new people there. Not sure what the managers/workers actually do all day. The equipment is getting old, nothing has been invested into this gym. It would be shocking if they are still in business a year from now. Like I really don't get how mgmt can't see this.

I've enjoyed this gym for many years. But would think twice about their personal training. I paid 1300 dollars for 18 workouts. Got injured on workout one or two. I believe the workout was too agressive. Now, I'm unable to workout, and their policy is to not refund me my remianing 1000 dollars or more. Not too happy about that.

Members suffer from entitlement disease. They hold equipment for themselves so they don’t have to wait in between sets. I haven’t experienced friendly people. Maybe a couple Gym seems low energy. Don’t think I’ll renew

The good:
They’ve hired several new team members who are friendly and helpful.
The assistant manager is very knowledgeable and doesn’t hesitate to answer questions on workouts.
They’re spending more time cleaning on the floor.
They’ve fixed the stalls in the women’s bathroom so now there are plenty.
They fix equipment when it’s broken and seem to be doing better at maintaining equipment.
They’ve been doing much better at making sure weights are stored appropriately so that trip hazards are taken care of.
The lockers are being cleaned in the women’s locker room.
The things they need to work on:
Need to do a better job at checking bathrooms throughout the day. The women’s restroom is hot and miss. Today was a big miss.
They need to check the cardio equipment. People sometimes leave trash in the cup holders. I’ve noticed several days go by and the same trash remains.
They really need to get the water fountains working better. They changed the filter but the water still is yuck. I think they need a good cleaning on the inside pipes.

I’ve been coming here for 6 weeks now and this place has not been cleaned at all. I read some reviews about the cleanliness and the reply from the owner is that they’re sorry they came on an off day. Well it seems everyday is an off day. Floors and equipment has grime and debris. The corner of the row machine has the same grime everyday for 6 weeks. The machines are barely wiped down by patrons with water filled spray bottle not antibacterial cleaner. The machines have sweat drip stains. They say the employees clean 5 machines a day, well, I haven’t found a single clean machine. Hired a real cleaner, please!

Ok gym. Plenty of eqmt downstairs and quite a bit up. Locker room is so so but that is typical at a busy gym. But they close ??????? I went by Friday at 8.15 and they were closed?!?!?!?!?! That is NOT 24 hours

GENERAL MANAGER MARTIN accused me of spilling water on a sensor when it was the other customer in the sauna. I get the censor is expensive but I don’t know why he had to come at me (a customer) very angry already before knowing who it was. He said he never accused me of anything and he was not at fault and didn’t want to take my complaint said to go to the website FOR A COMPLAINT and would talk over me when I tried putting in my complaint IN PERSON my family has been doing business with 24 since I was 8/9 and thought that wouldn’t change. I thought I was appreciated but I think I am not valued at all here at 24 hour fitness especially south lake

Maybe rename it 17 Hour Fitness Most Days? Also please stop blaring music in the gym. Literally 9/10 people have earbuds in to listen to their own music.

Terrible gym, staff and management are poor. This place was much nicer 10 years ago. There are much better choices for less. Go elsewhere .
