“Karen’s has always been a go to spot for us on the island! We love the toe rings - they’re fitted and not adjustable. They’re great quality and last. People always compliment ours and ask where they’re from! Mike is very friendly as well.”

“Me and my family have a tradition of going to K's jewelry when we come to the island every time my kids have a blast. At K's you can get a hair rap, make a bracelet, necklace, or an anklet (my kids personal favorite.) K's has a wide variety of different bead colors and pre-made bracelets. K's is a family owned place and the workers are so sweet and helpful when you do not know what to make. K's a great option for a family friendly activity on South Padre Island and I would highly recommend taking your family and can promise you will have a blast.”

“Very helpful had my watch batteries replaced. Mr. Rodriguez knows what he's doing. The place is really old, but the service is top rated. He sells jewelry and makes repairs. Prices are high but quality is great. But he only takes cash no credit cards. He will check items to see if they are real or fake. He is honest and so is he's wife.”

“My family and I absolutely loved this place. We went there while on our family summer vacation. This shop allowed all of our children inside and they were so sweet to our kids, answering all of their many questions. They did awesome permanent jewelry, henna tattoos, as well as permanent tattoos. My brothers and I got tattooed in honor of our Pops.( He's still alive) but we got the same tattoo that he has on his arm. He got his when he was in the Navy, back in the 50s in Guam. Sergio is awesome and very patient, and did an amazing job. This place rocks.”

“I loved this shop! Much nicer than the handful of generic souvenir shops on the main drag with cheap items. I purchased a cute Dia De Los Muertos stuffie for my grandbaby and a Christmas bulb for my tree. The shop keeper was pleasant and kind. Beautiful items, very much worth a stop.”

“Good place to get a nice gift. More nice Upper-End Items. Staff is polite & helpful. Store is nice to visit- it is NOT a junky trinket shop. It is sad that a lady with a toddler going through toilet-training issues gave a bad review about the store, rather than her own proper*planning of children's needs over shopping. The store is great & so is the staff.”
