Kenya is amazing! I’ve gotten my hair done a few times in the past year, whether it be just styling it, or coloring, and she always does a beautiful job.. she also makes me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process, I 10/10 recommended!!!

I coordinated my entire wedding from the phone and Kenya was an absolute pleasure to work with. I found her online and chose her based on the beautiful photos shown on her facebook page. I sent her some idea pictures and a picture of my hair. She estimated a timeline based on wedding start time and time to complete the hair. She doesn't need to practice ahead of time and she absolutely nailed the best qualities of all the photos I sent her.It took her a very short time to complete my particular style and she added my daughter in at the last minute and was able to create an adorable braided look with her short hair. I was also very nervous about makeup and she made me look natural, glowing and beautiful. I wish I had more time to get a massage or pedicure as she has a full service shop!The island is HUMID in August and my hair and makeup looked and stayed flawless all evening, even after windy beach pictures. I HIGHLY recommend Kenya and I would go back in a heartbeat!

I looked at google reviews and decided to give Island hair a try. I needed the gray covered. Kenya did an excellent job of matching my color. She gave me hints on how to take care of my hair and conditioned it. If I lived on SPI, she would be my hairdresser. We are planning on coming back next year, I will diffidently have her do my hair again. She gave me a card with the color I need on it. Thanks, see you next fall.

Great haircut! I'm very particular about my hair and Kenya gave me the best cut I've had in 3 years! The first time in many years my husband made a positive comment following an appointment. Kenya was easy to talk to, provided information on why she was cutting a certain way. The result was fashionable, feminine and easy to manage. I had a cut back home today and wish I was back on SPI in Kenya's chair!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Kenya and her coworker. Hurricane Harvey rolled in on the day of my wedding. She kept me so calm and relaxed. She texted me to make sure I was ok with the weather change and genuinely cared about me and my bridesmaids. She took her time and made sure I loved my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids. I had her adjust somethings with my hair and she was so patient with me. I am a hairstylist and makeup artist myself so I was nervous to let someone else take control, but she blew my expectations completely out of the water. Thank you Kenya, I have never felt so beautiful in my life and you made me feel at ease even during a hurricane. The salon was so adorable, clean and relaxing. I truly felt pampered and I will never forget my wonderful experience with Kenya. My bridesmaids were just as happy. Thank you thank you thank you!! Highly recommend.
