The front desk people are really nice.
The cleaning people are hard workers to make sure the job is done. You can make friends easy because they are nice.

This is the best no-frills place around. The staff is amazing, and Harry, the owner, treated us like family. We evacuated during Beryl and initially took whatever we could get. However, we were greatly surprised at the true hospitality. Close to Brenham and College Station, we had plenty to do and explore during our five day not-so-vacay vacation. My service dog, who is still a puppy and in training, did remarkably well, which tells me she liked the vibes.

Very clean, and pet friendly. Also SUPER affordable.. Minutes from the water with a very friendly and helpful staff. I had zero complications with my stay. Very enjoyable. I will be a returning customer and highly recommend!

We were moving to this area about 4 months ago and needed a room for a couple of nights. The desk clerk was not nice to my wife. We had our small dog with us and the clerk kept going on about what they would do and charge us if we brought in a dog or there was damage. Nothing about hello, welcome to Best Value. Glad you’re here. Room was dirty and something growing in bathtub. Very humid. Spent one night and went to Brenham. Found a much better and friendlier place. There’s a reason you never see very many cars at this place.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and conveniently located near Lake Somerville.
The continental breakfast was good.
The manager Hitesh was friendly and went above and beyond by driving us to Lake Somerville when we could not get an Uber.

Rooms: Very clean and quiet
Safety: My son and I felt safe. If you are out after midnight to 6am you have to show your key card and ID to get back in.
Walkability: Was easy to get to every thing nothing was clutter!
Food and drinks: They have drink machine and complimentary breakfast
