Apparently the asst. mgr, Mari (sp?) doesn’t care about her job, customers or customer service. She said so!
I’m there on my pretty regular, biweekly visit for, typically about 90 gals. of diesel and 13 gals of gas for my slice of ranch life. I’m almost half way filled with diesel when pump gets shut off…mid-flow. Wait a few minutes and try to reset with credit card; no joy. Reset again with credit card in attempt to get my gasoline; no joy. Go inside to inquire and with attitude, the explanation is: “ I’m doing shift change”. I mention that that’s not the greatest customer service. Her response, “I don’t care!”. Mind you, at about 4’10” in lifters and about 80 pounds wet, if not for her attitude she would be easy to miss. I proceed back to pump while she prints her ever so important pump receipts out. A few minutes later, still no joy on a working gas pump and go in to inquire on her manager or shift change person. “Neither are here right now! You want my boss’ number?”. YUP!!!
As she’s writing this supposed number down and I’m simply asking why she would do her ’shift change’ without her relief on site, she decides I can look the number up on the internet. Okie dokie.
No more business here from this local rancher; I’ll take my further business to Poteet since I’m conveniently right in the middle.🤠. Guess I’ll make sure it’s not the same owner first.😉
As a side note on the plus side of the one star review, I’ve been coming here for a year now and always had pleasant prior experiences.

This place has varies fast food and beverages to pick from,while your looking for munchies on the go. It has tables outside to sit on,if you like to wait or eat while your waiting or passing time. It's got handicap parking,and various gas pumps to use,to fill up your vehicle too. They even got a red box,in case you like to rent a movie.

Overall a pretty good staff. Inconvenient that we have to go elsewhere to download cash on various cards because of a technical issue.

Lord bathrooms are very dirty and it smells very bad.Workers looks like they really don't want to work there, never greets you as you walk in, and never ever smiles. And the the store is not so clean.

Stopped in to use the ATM and to buy a soda. ATM area was overflowing with trash and all over floor. Have cashier a $20 for my soda and was shorted $5 in change. Didn't realize until later too late to go back. Didn't realize buying a simple bottled soda would cost me over $7 for a 20 oz bottle. My mistake for not counting my change as well.

Had problems using our Valero credit card here, couldn't pay for the fuel we put in vehicle so had to go home to get cash. Real inconvenient and wasted fuel to get cash for the fuel we purchased.
