Usually a five but they installed those trash self checkouts in front of the best isle to wait for service in. Now we are jammed up in the stinky isle(cleaners and medicines and such) that are not big enough to ne passed in to wait to be checked out. I don't like I've ever seen the last register used before this. Much less the elderly population in town is gonna have a melt down they can barely use debit cards there's no way they can operate those machines. Only thieves and fools are gonna use them. But if you give me 20% off all purchases because I'm doing your employees job I'll consider it. Sincerely a local

Our local Slaton United Supermarket was roasting yesterday so I bought a small quart bag to see how they roasted here. I was very impressed!! Brandon did an excellent job roasting them.Even tho we can probably purchase a box of them for mayb $5 or $8 less, I saw no point in having to drive to New Mexico to bring some back. We asked yesterday if he could roast two boxes of them. He did and we are so thankful. We picked them up and have about 44 quart bags ready. Wondering if we need one more box.They will roast in slaton again next Saturday. Get stocked up because they are fresh and only in August can you get your fresh batches from Hatch.

Only grocery in slaton. It's ok for quick run ins but, no bakery and the deli is so so. Nothing like regular united stores. It's a cut down version of the lubbock stores. Shame since it's the only one in town.
