Total charmer of a grocery store! The butcher rocks. Always fresh quality meats. Great service. Love the selections of in house made breads, chili, sausage, soups, cookies and many other snacks and foods. The stockers, butchers, and cashiers are always nice and helpful. Fantastic service. Kayla, Brooke and others make Pateks a local favorite for us. Very clean and orderly interior w local charm.

We were able to get some excellent jalapeño and cheddar cheese beef sausage from your establishment. We just recently took it out of the freezer and ate it and it was the best we've had in such a long time. We wanted to get some more. Service is always exemplary in small towns. Always helpful and accommodating, as well as offering up some really great jalapeño and cheddar beef sausages. That's why we want to come back to Patek's very soon. V/r. Marcus & Theresa Vahalik

I was only able to take a dried sausage with my along on our road trip, but I believe these magical meat sticks have super-food qualities. I left it in the center console compartment for about 10 days and would take a bite when i needed salty satisfaction. Patek's Dried Sausage never let me down. Anyway this place is a "must stop" if you're visiting the brewery.

Great little market in Shiner. Check out the prices on the meat - dirt cheap and big pieces of meat! The smoked sausages are like little bites of brisket! They need to do some mail order.

Great store that had a wide selection of groceries. The had homemade noodles, canned items, sausage and meats. Wide selection of Shiner beers too!

When I was growing up, I'd spend my summers in Shiner at my grandparents. I loved the Shiner hot dogs, on a string, deep red, spicy with garlic powder and stuff. Although they still offer hot dogs, they aren't the same and these days I actually prefer the ones from Maeker's. BUT. Patek's has a Low Salt Pork & Beef Smoked Sausage that is just delicious! I like to buy in bulk, keep it in my freezer. I then will bring a six pack back to life by putting the frozen sausages in an oven set at 250 F for an hour. Man, do I love this intensely smoked (pecan I think) sausage. Highly recommended.
