I purchased a 2024 Chevy ZR2 from Sherman Chevrolet. Shortly after the purchase, I discovered the front bumper had been damaged, and the damage had been covered up with touch up paint. I contacted the salesperson, Dave, whom I dealt with, and let him know about the issue. I also sent a video and photos showing the touch up paint and extent of the damage. I was told the sales manager, Ryan was on vacation, but the issue would be brought to his attention upon his return. I expected the sales manager to reach out to me when he returned to discuss options to resolve the issue. Dave did follow up with me the next week and told me I would need to bring the truck in for Ryan to “look at it.” I couldn’t get a straight answer on how or if the dealership planned to deal with the damage. I let Dave know that I didn’t live close to Sherman, and I couldn’t spend three hours of my day driving to Sherman, so the sales manager could look at it. The video and photos I sent clearly showed the damage. I asked if I could take it to their sister dealership, El Dorado Chevrolet in McKinney, as it is closer and more convenient. I was told that was not an option. I also inquired about a loaner vehicle to use during the repair process, and I was told they most likely would not be able to provide a loaner. At no point in time during this process did the sales manager ever pick up the phone or email me to discuss the matter and try to work out a reasonable resolution.
I found a local body shop and scheduled a time to have the repairs made myself. I spent $1,100 to correct a mistake that the dealership should have stepped up and taken ownership of.
I had also requested that the truck have wheel locks installed prior to me taking delivery of it. I was assured that the truck came with wheel locks, and I questioned that as wheel locks are typically an add-on. When I took delivery of the truck, I pointed out that it did not have wheel locks, and then I was told the dealership did not have any in stock.

This is the best lot with the best salesmen!! I looked at a lot of cars and talked to a lot of salesmen this past week, and this lot had the best selection of both new and used vehicles! We couldn't have asked for a better experience!!
