My husband and I just recently moved to Sherman after a 15 hour drive from the Midwest. We had the pleasure of shopping and finding some great reasonably priced items for our new place! I think the manager named Natalia is the one that patiently assisted us. She’s the nice blonde lady with glasses. I have been to some very poorly managed Dollar General’s but this location gets 5 stars from me for great service and great selections. This will be our new go to spot for odds and ends!

Wanted to give a shout out to the young man (wears a beanie) that kindly carried my water bottles to my car for me.
He didn't have to do that- he restored my faith in Gen Z! Lol

Manager is an absolute disrespectful and rude woman. Knows nothing about the app for her store and offers no assistance to her customers, simply says the app isn’t her problem. Why not brush up on your store and app knowledge instead of blinking those fake blue contacts at everyone. She is a prime example of why we avoid dollar general at all costs. Will never go back and will contact corporate first thing in the am!

Wow, we went in to shop and my husband needed to use the restroom. They told him both restrooms were out of order. That really ticked me off. I guess they don't want our money. I would love to know if this is true or just some A hole cashier??? Maybe I'll go back and fill my cart and see if he tells me the same thing!

The worst! Every time I go in I get angry because when I checkout, the scanned price is RARELY as labeled on the shelf. I checked out Sunday at the self checkout and only 2 of my 8 items scanned the correct price. I called the manager over and complained and she offered to make it right, but she had to go find each item on the shelf to verify I was correct about the tag. I finally got frustrated and left. The difference between their checkout price and the tag price for 8 items was over $5. Her explanation was that they don’t have the staff to keep up with changing the price labels on the shelves. So beware, if you go by the shelf tag price at this store, be prepared to pay an additional 10-15% more than expected.
