My wife car needed new transmission so I called around to shops and read reviews. I saw Alpha transmission and auto was around for many years. I gave them a car and told them the car is at dealership. They arranged for car to their shop. They kept me updated and told me cost. I am very happy with shop and will take my vehicles there anytime. I will also tell everyone I know in the area.

So far so good, I've set an appointment for a diagnostic on my much loved family van. We've got a few special needs kiddos so it's pretty important we get good solid knowledgeable service on our daily driver. 4 stars for gruff high stress manner, super busy shop owner cut off his front desk person while he was on the phone to clarify they needed at least 4 hours for a diagnostic. I was shocked, 4 hours is amazing and unheard of especially for a shop seemingly as busy as they were.
After a bit of chat they're actually scheduling out a week at the moment, and after that it's about two days turn around if it's not terribly complicated.
That's a lot more reasonable. I mean heck I'll take 4 hours but I was worried the owner had a serious disconnect from his mechanics and their workload.
A cosmetic gripe that I just can't sugar coat- I'm short and fat and they had this really high granite counter. Looked great but man I had to stand on the rungs of their barstool chair just to look over the thing. If you're vertically impaired like your girl here make sure to wear your climbing sneakers so you can talk to a face instead of a counter wall. lololol but hey they regularly clean because that counter wall was spotless and no gross gum stuck on the underside?

Very satisfied. My buddy Steven Rogers advised my to take my truck to alpha. My truck is about 24 years old, it was needing issues fixed that were causing it to run pretty rough. Alpha fixed 3 issues for under $400.

Boba is an excellent guy! He took time out of his busy schedule to assist me with questions I had about the transfer case for my Chrysler PTU. His knowledge and insights gave me peace of mind that the part was suitable for my car. He's definitely the person I'll turn to for transmission work in the future. Highly recommended!

Absolutely awesome service. I had to have my car towed into them for service contact work, and they took care of my car before any of the other cars, because they were two weeks booked out, but had me on the road the next day. They walked me through the issue and even sent me pictures and texts about the issues and communicated with me the whole process. I would definitely recommend them for other vehicle work.
