I'm doing a 5 star ahead of the repair work because of the nice response the woman had with me. I was frustrated because after waiting all day on a Maytag repair call, I checked into it and found that the appliance company Maytag had sent the order to, had not accepted it (now it's 4pm) and on top of that when I called the company, they were upset because they don't service Maytag or Whirlpool and said someone by the name of Ch____ has convinced Maytag that he is that appliance company and evidently had been the reason they were given numerous bad reviews. After informing Maytag, they place the name and number (which I have but won't divulge publicly due to legal reasons) on a investigation list and gave me the name and number for Aldridge. Yes, I looked them up in reviews but it seems a lot of the older responses which were negative, should be discounted since the Hale Family bought the company from the original family 6 years ago.Back to the conversation, she could tell how frustrated I was and that I work from home 2 days a week and the first day she mentioned, was not one of them, but I will be home in the afternoon due to medical appts. She said she would contact the service tech and have him call us, even made sure she had our back up phone in case. So people, I know what's it's like to not have a dryer or washer not repaired quick enough (At least you can do your own dish washing) but all these whiners about parts not coming in, it is not their fault. The world changed in 2020 and parts are not on the shelf as fast as they used to be. Goodness, don't you think they want to finish the job and not have to deal with your calls and frustration? Grace....people....grace.

We selected a number of ceiling fans and light fixtures for our new home. Aldridge even gave us a package discount for buying so many. The products are all excellent, and the process of purchase and pickup was smooth and easy. I'm happy to be able to support a local business over the big box titans.

We always try to buy American when we can and favor small local businesses when we can over the Goliaths of the world. We are not “virtue signaling”—just being factual. Aldridge is a top-notch local business, although you might drive right past it if you blink at the wrong time. We have bought a couple of major appliances from them—the latest was a stainless steel Kitchen Aid downdraft electric range which replaced a 36-year old Jenn-Air (still working!). Mark gave us a competitive deal, and his crew made a very difficult installation in a kitchen with a couple of snug corners and granite obstacles. All in all, it was a very satisfactory experience. I had a Maytag dryer that suddenly stopped working/turning on. I went to the Maytag/whirlpool website and filled out the online form with model and serial numbers to set up factory authorized service. The service provider in my area was listed as Aldridge. The prospective service date from the website was 1/2/23. I tried following up with Aldridge but the phone was never answered and no one ever called me back. I got one email from them that said "We will be in touch soon." Not confirming the 1/2/23 appointment or giving any further indication of when the actual service would be performed. Their answering system has a days old message about week before Christmas 12/19/22 closure. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at this place. In the meantime I fixed the dryer myself with a $3 fuse after watching a YouTube video and cleaning my dryer vent.

We ordered a washer, dryer, and refrigerator from Aldridge Allhome. The washer and dryer were installed before we moved into our new home but were not the pair that we ordered. We finally resolved ourselves to the pair received and eventually received a refund. One year later I am finding that my new house is always filled with dust. Why? Well, today I discovered that the 4" round dryer hose is not fully attached to an oval-shaped vent. Aldridge jimmy-rigged the hose to stay semi attached, allowing dryer dust and air to escape into the laundry room and eventually throughout the house. I went to Home Depot and found the oval to round attachment. No more floating dust particles escaping from the dryer hose. Alldridge Allhome needs to provide better service.

I have been trying to get a response from owner Mark Hale for over 6 months. He has promised to deliver my red stove knobs, and pay for a vent hood and air blower install he told me to pay for and he’d reimburse me. He also took payment in full for a dishwasher in July 2021 that is still unaccounted for. He does not take or return my repeated calls, texts, or emails. He was quick to be in touch during sales process thru payment. Once he got paid, he did nothing to help resolve all the issues.I purchased all the appliances for a remodel from him and it has been a truly horrible experience.DO NOT USE THEM! You will be sorry!!! If I could give him Zero stars, that would be accurate.

We were in the process of building a new home, and visited Aldridge about flooring, appliances and lighting. All seemed good from knowledge about items to the pricing. Once the money changed hands the problems began The appliances (range) that was repeatedly assured was available when needed was not ready. Broken ceiling fan blades still have not been replaced. Glass light shades that were shipped broken are still not replaced. Continued calls to Aldridge always amount to the same thing, they pawn it off on the distributor. It has been about three months on the fan blade and lights and counting. Very hard to keep up with their actual hours (you can forget this 9-5 bit). Very non-responsive to the customer. I would not recommended this store to anyone.
