This review is primarily for expectant mothers considering this practice for prenatal care. Based on a positive first pregnancy experience, I returned to this practice with high hopes for my second. Trusting that the high level of care from my first pregnancy would continue, I was unprepared for the alarming and unexpected turn my second pregnancy took. To clearly outline the issues I encountered, I’ve listed some below:
- I was comforted by the presence of familiar faces when I started prenatal care for my second pregnancy. However, due to frequent shifts in the care team, I felt a lack of continuity. This was highlighted by being asked to take the three-hour glucose test at 27 weeks after passing the one-hour test just a week prior.
- At 35W, I unexpectedly received a positive urine culture result despite having no UTI symptoms.
Upon checking the MyQuest results, I discovered the urine sample was collected several days after my appointment, casting doubt on the accuracy of the test. Despite my concerns, I was prescribed antibiotics. To clarify the situation, I requested a repeat test, which came back negative. This confirmed my suspicions and resulted in unnecessary antibiotic use during pregnancy.
- At 36W 4D, my blood pressure spiked, prompting close monitoring. When it remained elevated at an urgent care visit few days later, I became increasingly worried. At my next appointment, at 37W 5D, I requested an earlier C-section due to high blood pressure. However, my doctor reassured me that I was healthy and could safely wait another week!!!
- The following morning, at 37W 6D, my condition deteriorated rapidly. Despite leaving a voicemail for the nurse at 8 am, I didn’t receive a return call. When I finally reached her around noon, she dismissed my symptoms as typical and advised me to wait for labor to start before seeking medical attention. Concerned for my health, I insisted on seeing my doctor and was finally scheduled for an appointment the following morning!
Incredibly, the nurse also requested that I return essential hospital documents for delivery, which she had previously given me, only to discover they belonged to another patient!
- The next day at 38W and in less than 48 hr after expressing concerns about my elevated blood pressure, I was shocked to learn that my condition had worsened, necessitating an emergency C-section!
- Before my C-section, I explicitly expressed a desire for a clear drape to my doctor. While this request was noted in the triage room, it was disregarded. My doctor’s dismissive response, "What do you want to see?", intensified my anxiety and distress during the procedure.
- My primary doctor made a brief visit 13 hr post C-section, informing me that the on-call doctor would handle my care over the weekend. Concerned about my ongoing high blood pressure, I expressed my worries to the on-call doctor. To my surprise, he stated that my discharge was already ordered by my primary doctor, and he couldn't consult with him. This lack of coordination and communication raised significant concerns. How could a thorough evaluation occur just 13 hours post-emergency C-section due to preeclampsia? The situation left me questioning the purpose of having an on-call doctor if they were unable to make necessary adjustments or consult with the primary physician. The disorganization of my care is further evidenced by the fact that my primary doctor, rather than the on-call physician, prescribed my discharge medications on the same day as my C-section.
My hospital stay at MHTW compounded my overall negative experience. I faced unsanitary conditions, excruciating pain during IV placement, delayed care with potential health risks, and a chaotic discharge process.
I am deeply disappointed by the noticeable decline in care quality at this practice compared to my previous positive experience. The nursing staff made multiple errors, and the high turnover seemed to impact the doctor&

Update:
If lines cuts off, they don’t call you back and you have to wait again for 10 minutes to get someone to answer. They don’t think about the customer service side. I don’t like practices that take their patients for granted and I feel slowly I have a feeling it’s becoming that. Also long wait to be seen.
The staff looks like they are tired or just not engaged. Hope they revisit all these points. It was not like this a few years back.
Old: Fast processing time for Dr. Gionatti. Staff is friendly and professional. Just moved to area and I am glad I found this practice. Dr. Marco is great!

This place is amazing! A girlfriend recommended that I go here for ongoing gynecological care when we moved to Spring in 2013 but I was hesitant because I’ve never used a man doctor for that. I was blown away! Dr. Berryhill is who I see here and he is done before I knew he started! The front staff, nurses, all amazing also. The best part is I never have to wait forever in the waiting room! I’ve never waited more than 10 min to get called back. Love this place so much I pay as a cash paying client when I am on insurance they don’t accept!

Love Dr. Dalati, great doctor. I have NEVER waited long for an appointment. He delivered my twins, was very attentive to all questions, even post twins. Office is always clean, staff is friendly. Highly recommend.

First experience with an OBGYN and it was NOT great. They stared at me like I had two heads when I said I wasn’t on birth control (as a former 18 yr old) Haven’t gone back since. Quit pressuring young girls into thinking their sexual status defines them

Just had my appointment with Dr. Dalati and he was incredible, hands down best gynecologist I’ve seen. He took the time to go over my issues and different treatment options. I forgot his nurses name but she was absolutely precious.Dr. Dalati’s personality was so much fun and he made me so comfortable. Thank you again Dr. Dalati!!

I honestly think the only reason this practice is rated so highly is because MOST of the doctors are great. (Or they were a few years ago)The 1.5+ hr wait you have to do every single appointment however is out of control. For any kind of appointment (OB or GYN), I have never had less than a 1.5 hour wait to see the doctor. I’m currently writing this review at 1126 while still waiting to see a doctor for my 1020 appointment.I’ve sat naked on the table for at least 40 minutes. If you love to waste your day sitting in an office then this place is great.I also had a few issues with how things were handled with my last birth, but honestly the wait times are biggest negativeEdited on 1/30/24: at the time of writing the previous review, my concerns were not addressed nor taken seriously. I continued to call and voice my health concerns and told to try a myriad of over the counter options (all of which were just to mask my symptoms and not actually figure out the cause of those symptoms). I made a new appointment with a different office who had never met me. They got me in and out in 45 minutes, immediately addressed my problem (just from visual examination) and truly listened to my concerns.Again, this office is really a waste of time and your concerns are not taken seriously.

Multiple bad experiences at this establishment. Charge $50 for a phone call to get the attention of the doctor. Doctor forgot to logout of my chart and never sent off my birth control prescription. They were completely at fault yet I still had to pay. Was outside in lobby when they texted me they were closing down the office. Came the next day to a “rescheduled appointment” meaning they called me that morning and said I can come in. Went there a little late due to weather/traffic. Wasn’t seen for the 2nd day in an row and was rescheduled for yet another appointment. Very disappointing. Very unethical. Inconsiderate.

Horrible office staff! It’s like I’m talking to a brick wall. Super unhelpful, rude, and flat out incompetent.

After my long time Gyno retired I had to find a new Dr. It's never an easy experience having a new gyno. The entire clinic and staff at WHA made it so easy. Dr. Berryhill was friendly genuine and actually took a moment to get to know me. He listened to my situation and helped anyway her could. We just recently found out we were pregnant and couldn't be more elated with the care we've continued to receive from Dr. Berryhill and his staff. It's a huge relief to know, not only are we in good hands, but genuinely caring ones.UPDATE: Dr. Berryhill was amazing through the whole delivery process. And very helpful with recovery and made sure I was doing well physically and mentally after birth. Two years later and we’re doing it all again. And couldn’t be happier with the care this time around.

Worst medical staff ever!!Dr Behne is kind and nice, front desk ladies are welcoming too but dr Behne’s nurse, Staphnie, she’s so unprofessional.Since starting it was well & good but then some incident happened and I developed some complications and then it all started. Now they would not let me know my lab results, nurse staphnie would not call back, would not respond emails, my important health related questions.! Everything is like a joke for them. They won’t understand how crucial it could be for someone’s health. After that incident I again returned to dr Behne thinking about giving another try but seems like they don’t want my business anymore. I hope someday dr Behne would read this review and get to know it was not Him that I’m leaving his services but its his nurse Staphnie, who has become completely unprofessional now!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDI had the most amazing experience with my first pregnancy at this clinic. Having Dr. Heidi Lyn Stern as my OB was the best decision I made. She has a great sense of humor to the point sometimes my husband and i didnt know if she was joking or not. LOL! I never once felt unsure or scared about anything. She always answers your questions and gives reasoning behind the answers. Her 2 assistants are amazing too. I had to be induced at 38 weeks because I ended up with preclampsia unfortunately, but Dr. Lyn kept close tabs on me and visited me in the hospital everyday until I was out. My delivery with her was so smooth. I trust her fully 100% with my life and can't wait until my husband and I try for our second baby later down the road so we can have her again. 10/10 highly recommend this wonderful Doctor.

Very unprofessionally ran office. Stay away from Dr. Lyn Stern and her stuff. She seems to have planned "emergencies" (yes, planned.). Her nurse canceled my appointment the day before (after confirming numerous times) because the doctor has an emergency tomorrow. Sounds like a joke, but sadly, it wasn't. They cancelled my 1st appointment after I spent an hour and a half in the waiting room.I have three kids, and never had I experienced such level of incompetence

They do not care about the healthcare of women of Color...Tonya Dr. Berryhills nurse does not return calls, I have been waiting for an update since 07/03/2023, she has not returned any calls or kept her word. We have to diagnose ourselves and then tell Dr. Berryhill what is wrong. Dr. David R Reeves is the only physician that was at this practice who cared for women of color and minorities with no discrimination. Called this morning to make a complaint with the office manager and she has disappeared from her desk. To all women of color please make sure your Dr. has a background in our health as well as the health of all minorities.
