Excellent customer service! George Hernandez helped me and made sure all my questions were answered. The branch manager even took the time to introduce himself. Definitely deserve a 5 star review.

Juan was my teller today when I stopped in to get a new debit card as mine was used for unauthorized transactions, he helped me fill out all the forms and issued me a new card and he also helped me fill out a dispute form for the transactions that were made. He's a 5 star employee!

Zero stars!!! This is the worst branch ever! I stopped by to get customer service and no one cared for me as a client, even when the place was empty with no other customer in sight. I thought that I was invisible. I was not greeted or asked how could I be helped. That's completely unacceptable! If you're not willing to serve, you are in the wrong business as a bank.

Bank Manager here was VERY RUDE to me yesterday and pointed at the door and said have a great day. I had gone before to cash a cashiers check made by one of their members, only to be told the first time that that amount was over the limit for non account holders. No problem I went to my own bank. Yesterday how ever I tried to cash a personal check made by a member there. This check was less than the limit I was told about last time. Mrs Bank manager explained to me that xx amount was too much and they wouldnt cash it, with such an attitude and frustration in her voice because I still questioned why XX amount changed since the last time I had visited this branch. She said I dont know who attended to you last time and idk what they told you. But Im telling you right now I cant cash that for you here take it to your own bank. All while waving her hands near my face and yelling at me. I think there was a far more better way to explain to me that the check I had was too much. I found it very RUDE the way she spoke to me and highly inappropriate for a bank manager to speak to anyone the way she spoke to me. Other people within the branch saw how she spoke to me as well. I wouldnt be looking to do business with a bank where the manager is mean to people for no reason, since I DID understand what she said, but she got very upset that I questioned her. If a manager talks to their members like they’re stupid and finds it acceptable, Im very disappointed that a manager would speak to anyone in that way. Especially after I tried to politely ask if I could cash this check there. I really hope I never get a check from anyone that banks with them. Never want to deal with this bank again. I understand that managers have to stand their ground and defend the bank but the way she handled speaking to me was DISRESPECTFUL. There was no need to point at the door as a way of telling me to leave. Im really posting a google review so people can be warned . Glad I didnt have to pass the door and get to a teller to be yelled at for not understanding why the amount had changed, if it had ever really changed at all. Smh do better TDECU of Shenandoah.

I have been highly disappointed with TDECU. I have been a longtime customer in my opinion (6+ years) and if you do not need telephone support from time to time, they would be okay. I like supporting local business. However, every time I have need help on the phone, it seems I can never get to the right person to take card of my needs. Their online bank has been poor compared to what you can do with other institutions of similar size. I agree with others about POOR communications. They are quick to put a transaction on hold for fraud prevention which is understandable but getting a replacement credit card when they cancelled it due to a possible fraud has been a nightmare to say the least. I even agreed to pay the $37 fee for a 3 day delivery of a new card and it has been 14 days and it is just now shipping. It was not processed till 3 days ago but I was assured it would be here in 3 business days. Well that didn't happen. There are other issues also but it seems I will need to find a new credit union or bank to handle my needs.

Came to this location because the other was too busy... I've bought two houses with this CU and came in for more business... Music was blaring in the bank. Far too loud for a lobby. The receptionist on the other side of the building hollered over to me that there was a long wait (again) because this is another understaffed branch... Waited as the receptionist sang loudly... Honestly I'd rather do business over the phone.

Open a new account and set up direct deposit. My first check was a live check and I mobile deposit. Of course it was returned because I didn't write for deposit only on it, what else would I be doing with it except depositing it. So I deposit it again to find out 11 days later it's still not available. I called to have it verified and the Supervisor said no the account was too new. I'm a driver and I'm all over Texas and needing these funds, by this time the following week my direct deposit has went through but not my mobile deposit. As soon as I get in town I'm closing this account and spread the word. Should have went to Chase Bank as planned.

My grandmother is disabled and we had accidentally left her wheelchair at home. The women here went above and beyond by coming outside and consulting with her. They were so very helpful and it was wonderful to be around such caring people.

Poor Communication and a lack of care for its customer is what you can be assured to receive from TDECU. I had a checking account for a year and a half and opened it prior to taking out my auto loan with them. I had an unauthorized charge online which over drafted my checking account. This is not my primary checking account and I rarely log into the account, I file my mail received assuming is a statement as I do all my business online, and because I was not expecting any charges on this account had no idea the incident had occurred. By the time I got caught up with opening my mail 8 weeks later, and saw the notice it was too late to correct it. My account had not only been closed, but charged off to some check system. I called, obviously paid the over draft and asked the Representative why I hadn't even been extended the courtesy of an email or a phone call advising of the situation so that I would have known there was an issue and corrected it before it got to this point, and I was told that only two letters and sent and then the account is closed. Granted I should open my mail sooner, but I have never dealt with a banking institution that doesn't notify you of an issue via the app, email or by phone. I am now considering yanking my car loan on the principle of what has occurred, and the bad taste it has left with me. Choose a credit union that actually communicates with it's members and save yourself a future headache.

Better hope you don't get sandy hocko. She doesn't answer the phone and won't call you back. Very unprofessional. I won't be recommending them or using them in the future.

My banking experience with TDECU is great. Although, sometimes it takes too long for transactions to post. This can sometimes cause the balance to be off target. I have paid off several loans and the customer service is great, so far. I have been a member for 13 years.
