When this bank was First Community Bank, it was wonderful. My entire family held at least once account here. Now they have switched to Pioneer Bank. It's awful. The accessibility to customer service, or weekend deposits, or even weekend spending has dwindled. 5 months after starting a new job, they froze my accounts after I deposited my check to investigate whether the company was an actual company. Not only did they hold the money in my accounts to match the deposit amount, which they had given me a portion of upon my deposit in order for me to pay my rent, they also disabled access to money that had already been in my account. It took over 3 days to regain access to my accounts. After that fiasco, I began depositing my checks by mobile to avoid the hassle of driving a long way only to not have the money available for up to a week. It STILL has anywhere from a 3-7 day delay in approving the deposit. When i make a purchase, it can take up to a week for the purchase to post to my account. My last check was over the mobile deposit limit and I made the deposit in the bank location. 3 days after I deposited, the money showed as available in my account. I then paid my car note, and utilities and deposited an ADDITIONAL check 4 days after depositing at the branch. It has been 3 days since the second deposit, and my account is $400 negative due to paying my utilities, even though I should be able to purchase a used car with what was left from the deposits. This bank is unreliable to say the least. The one good thing that has carried over from First Community Bank is that the Sprout Savings still have a good yield percentage rate. However, that is not enough to hold me as I could take the savings and purchase a CD or something.... Another bank bit the dust.
