Always count your items at all of these type of stores before approaching the cash register. The stuff is decent quality for the price and some of it is name brand. Worth the trip! “Very nice and clean , saw a review earlier about a lady complaining she was yelled at which is not true. I was there and the cashier had a line and was attending her customers when the other lady interrupted them multiple times and the cashier then pointed the item away out , sure she has an accent but she definitely did not yell. Another cashier also explained that to her. Anyways good staff, heads up the general price is $1.79 unless marked otherwise as of now but still not bad and is expected considering inflation you just gotta get what works for you as you would in different stores. Nothing is a dollar anymore because we’re past 2010 ?.”
“Great D.G. location. Friendly & knowledgeable employees. I like the layout of the store, even when they're busy it's not cramped in the Isles or checkout area. They have fresh produce, always lot of Milk. Good selection of Cheeses and Lunchmeat. Frozen breakfast foods like Jimmy Dean biscuits and more, Hot pockets.TV Dinners, frozen skillet meals, good selection of Frozen pizzas and Pies & BLUEBELL ICE CREAM!!! Cat food wet and dry (kitten and adult), flea treatments, litter, treats & toys. Dog food, treats, toys and pet beds. Household bulbs, towels, lamps, rugs, wall clocks, floor rugs, throw pillows, bed pillows, sheet sets, curtains. Kitchen iron skillets and cooking utensils, plates, cups, paper goods. Cleaning supplies, brooms mops swiffers. Laundry supplies. Disinfectants. Incontinence pads, personal sanitary supplies. Medicines for headaches, toothache, cold/flu, ointments. Beauty supplies. “I love walking into this place and being verbally acknowledged by the staff. Happens every time. Even on Thanksgiving when I needed a few odd items and figured the store would surely be closed but gave it a shot anyways. Makes me feel like I'm in the right place to get my shopping list knocked out. Makes me feel like I might just get a few things that I forgot to put on my list but that I realize I desperately need and thankfully can easily afford considering the prices here. If one pokes around in a clever enough manner one can uncover bargains so rife with value they can transform ones very notion of fulfillment and purpose. I go in for the friendly welcome I receive upon entry. But I stay and shop for the transcendent life affirmation that is saving money. You will find neither at any department store.”

The choices and selection is somewhat disappointing now and you're better off buying a lot of it, and especially snacks (because they are fresher) at Walmart. Sometimes you do find an awesome deal though.”

“Went in today 5/20 around 3:05pm, Julio manager was very friendly offered great customer service & another gentleman that offered to help me while I was grabbing a balloon. This by far is the best customer service ive ever received at any dollar tree in my life. I visit the 1960/kurkendahl location often & the customer service there is non existent. Please tell the staff they are doing a great job. Maybe the manager Julio who was my cashier today should visit the other dollar trees in Houston & give training classes on providing excellent customer service to shoppers. Please give this team a high five for today.”
