If I could give them no star I would. Went to them in October. My experience was bad to say the least. Went in cause car was shaking and told them battery light is on. Came back told me battery connector was bad , I said by the way can you check I have oil leaking. Came out with this long list of issues that they claim need to be fixed over 2,200 dollars I said absolutely not came back and say to take care of oil leak and replace oil it will cost 589.00 I then again said absolute not. After waiting 2 1/2 hours I leave only to return cause car is still shaking. Comes back he said you only told me about the battery light now if you did a diagnostic test shouldn’t it tell you why the car is shaking. Then to add insult to injury you told me that the mechanic tested drove it which I’m sitting there and seeing none of this. Ok he drives it and then say it’s the alternator now I’m really confused cause this is a brand new alternator. So now he’s saying I need a new one and they can replace which would cost me over 500 dollars . Took it back to the guy that installed it and he said it’s not the alternator. Wasted a 150 dollars for a questionable diagnostic check. I tried to hold off from writing this review but after reading some of the negative one’s I realized I had too.

I can't thank this business enough. First off I was calling all over the place to see who can perform a transmission oil change and everyone was book for the entire week but when i saw these guys and all thier wonderful reviews I decided to give them a call and they told they can take me in right away. Once I got there I came in the doors and the whole store was clean from top to bottoms the mechanics gave me the upmost respect. I really did feel welcome once I told them my problems they reassure me they will take care of everything if they found something they let me know right away and gave me advice in what I should do for future maintenance. I'm going to make sure I come back again and let my family know about them. Side note: They're waiting room has chairs that can recline, restrooms inside and when I left they had custodians cleaning the shop.

My car was having serious issues while I was driving it and Selma Automotive was the closest place to where I was, so I called to see if they would be able to assist me my car was answered quickly, and I was assured that they could help me! When I drove up, Wally and his team were waiting for me as it was closing time for them. Not only did they take my car in that evening, but Wally also gave me a ride home! He called me early the next morning to provide the diagnostic information and explain what they would be doing to my vehicle to get it running properly. I was pleasantly surprised at the price and was told I would be able to pick the car up later that day. I can say with 100% certainty that this will be my go-to vehicle repair shop going forward! I waited to write this review because I did not want to leave a negative review for no reason. On a Monday I dropped my truck at this shop because I was having issues starting it and would have random shut off and loss of engine power. I was assured the truck would be looked at and diagnosed correctly. The following day I receive a call from the automotive advisor saying at first my truck has a bad throttle body and that it needs to be changed and to their knowledge that’s what was causing the random shut offs and loss of power, I gave the OK to perform the repair before I was interrupted by the advisor trying to tell me my wheel bearings where bad and that they had play. I did not wanna be rude but I know my bearings are not bad because I just replaced them 3 months ago. Fast forward I pick up the truck, was charged $800 for the throttle body and labor. I asked the guy before I approved if he was 100% that was the problem and he said he KNOWS that’s the the problem. Not even 48 hours after I pick up the vehicle it shuts off on me mid highway on my way to work so I call the shop and I tell him hey man the truck turned off on me again and the check engine light is flashing can you send me a tow truck because I don’t want to cause any more problems, he replies by saying if he does send a tow truck it’ll come out of MY POCKET not his even though he told me if I had any problems to call him, he than said it might not even be something related to the throttle body work they did come figure. I was not going to take the truck back to that shop because I knew they were not going to diagnose it properly and just quote me for the next thing that would pop up in their scanner, I took the truck 2hrs away to Bryan, TX where I knew a local mechanic and he diagnosed it within a day saying what Selma automotive had done was basically a fraud because he diagnosed it was a wire from the harness making contact with ground which was causing all types of sensors to go off and Selma did not bother to diagnose anything they basically just did a plug and play for no reason. With this I leave my review to not go here because they will not take the time to diagnose your vehicle correctly and will not offer help when your vehicle comes out the shop and breaks down again.

This is the worst shop in Town. They broke my engine cover in 4 places. Another 200 to fix. Their repair lasted 1 month to the day. Another 750 at a good shop and now it's fixed properly. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.Services: Auto A/C replacement

So conveniently located close to my workplace, took care of a few issues that were caused by jobs previously done terribly, removed my engine light and diagnosed all 3 of my concerns in great time! Thank you all at Selma Auto I will for sure bring my business and family's business there from now on!

Go ahead and report me. You need to be reported to Better Business Bureau. Go right ahead and report and I will do the same for your business. You have done thousands of dollars of business with me and state that I have not done business with you. Go ahead and report me. This shop did horrible work on 2 of our vehicles. Now claims we are not even customers. No apology. Nothing. THIS IS THE EXACT THING I AM WARNING ALL OF YOU ABOUT. DO NOT GO HERE. THIS IS HOW YOU ARE TREATED. To the owner...I will make sure to forward your response to every single customer in our area.

Wally and his tech were more than AWESOME! I was stranded and struggling while waiting for the tow truck to pick me and my vehicle up. I called to make sure they could get me in, and Wally volunteered to come and see if there was any thing they could check or fix before the tow truck arrived since I was about a mile away from them. They showed up within a few minutes and got busy!! I couldn’t ask for or even imagine better customer service. I highly recommend them for your vehicle service needs!!
