I'm impressed, booked this hotel at the last minute & had to chose something nearby so I booked this hotel.I requested a room away from the elevator & the clerk was kind enough to place me in one. The breakfast area was clean, the staff was attentive & filling all the items before they ran out.I would definitely stay here again.

How this got over 4 starts I’ll never understand. Rooms are old and dingy and have a smell. Location would be nice if the highway wasn’t completely shut down and impossible to get in and out of.

Spending my second night here and loving it. The room are amazing; clean, neat, and well-maintained. The beds are SO comfortable and even the pillows are also which is not a norm at most hotels and/or motels. The staff is fabulous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again for my next San Antonio trip!

Overall experience was great. Breakfast was delicious and slightly varied each day. Rooms had a lot of extra space (reserved a 2 queen bed room for a family of 5). I could have brought a single sized air mattress and had a space on the floor to sleep.Staff was very helpful and sweet. The lady that attended the breakfast area was so sweet to my boys. She showed them how to make excellent hot chocolate.My only 3 complaints are that it's around a lot of construction, so getting in and out wasn't to bad, but rarely did I exit the same way out. Also, it's about 15 miles "outside" San Antonio, so if you plan on going into the city for activities, plan for an extra 30-40 mins due to traffic. Lastly, the indoor swimming pool is NOT heated. Expect the water to be COLD! We stayed for a nearby soccer tournament only 5 mins away, so it was great. However, we extended our stay for some family time and had to travel long distances to Sea World and a Spurs game.Bottom line, we'll definitely look into staying here again for our next soccer tournament!

I had a rather unpleasant experience during my recent stay at the Hampton Inn. After checking in on a Friday night, my initial impression of the place was quite positive. However, things took a frustrating turn the following morning when I tried to turn on the TV in my room. To my surprise, the TV was cracked, but this was only noticeable when it was turned on, not when it was off.I promptly reported the issue to the front desk, where the staff assured me that they would either fix the TV or replace it. While dealing with this inconvenience, I couldn't help but notice that the head of housekeeping seemed to wear a less-than-friendly expression and did not appear eager to assist me with the matter.To my shock, I woke up the next day to find a $900 charge on my credit card. It seemed that the hotel was blaming me for the damaged TV and had decided to bill me for it. When I approached the general manager to explain that I had only noticed the issue the following morning and hadn't even turned on the TV until then, his response was far from accommodating. He essentially dismissed my concerns and insisted that I should have checked the TV as soon as I entered the room.Despite this unpleasant incident, I chose to continue my stay at the hotel, even extending it by an extra day. I had confidence in my ability to resolve the unfair charge through my credit card company, which I eventually did. The credit card representative informed me that the hotel could only charge me if they had a policy stating that guests must check the TV as soon as they enter the room. If such a policy did not exist, they were in the wrong.While the front desk staff were somewhat helpful, I cannot say the same for the general manager, who displayed a dismissive attitude, or the head of housekeeping, whose demeanor was less than welcoming. I share this review to caution potential guests about the unprofessional behavior I encountered during my stay.There was another concerning aspect related to the TV issue. When I tried to discuss the matter with the general manager, I attempted to explain that the TV in question was a relatively modest $350 55inch model and not a $900 TV they were trying to charge me for. To my disbelief, the general manager dismissed my explanation and even chuckled, insisting that the TV's actual value was $900.In my efforts to clarify the situation, I requested an invoice or receipt to verify the TV's cost. However, the general manager appeared evasive and declined to provide any such documentation. This only added to my frustration, as I felt he was not being transparent and was possibly attempting to overcharge me for something I did not do.This episode further highlighted the unprofessional behavior of the general manager and contributed to my overall negative experience at the Hampton Inn.

Hampton Inn is our go to. You just always know what your going to get. Clean, comfy rooms. Great staff. Breakfast is always delicious!!! Thank you for always being consistent and always friendly!!!!

Standard room two beds. Beds were not bad and somewhat comfortable to sleep on. Comes with breakfast, unlike other hotels who charge.Noteworthy details: We came for the Sunday bike course so it was very close to this location.

Went to Hampton Inn because the a/c went out at my house while I was on vacation in Alaska. Had the pleasure of meeting John at the front desk and he was awesome. Very polite and friendly and was able to help me and my family avoid a miserable day of heat. I appreciate John and the friendly staff at Hamton Inn. Standard Hampton Inn with great people running it. Breakfast food and area is clean and efficient. Location in the curve of IH 35 and loop 1604 is a high traffic area.

Traveling for work, the hotel is 5 minutes from the job site, very welcoming, helpful staff. Enjoyed my first staying this is the second time.Rooms: The rooms for big stays were clean, organized.

Loved this hotel so much when we visited from out of state. John was our favorite worker; he was so attentive and always helped us with whatever we needed. On our last day, something came up and we had to extend our stay past checkout time and John helped accommodate our needs. Rooms are very clean and room service replaced our towels daily. Breakfast was amazing, & always served hot. Indoor pool is heated and is clean with pool towels. Aside from the accommodations, the location was very convenient and safe. The forum is literally down the street and so are many other restaurants. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Staff at front desk and auxiliary staff around the facility were all very helpful, polite and friendly, notably John at the front desk and Laura auxiliary staff.Room was clean and comfortable, complimentary breakfast was above average, parking was free and easy. Overall we had a great stay, even enjoyed the sitting area off the front lobby late in the evening for family card games!Would return in the future.Rooms: Room was clean and comfortable. We had a king bed and pull out sofa. Lots of room for four people
