Brandon at the tire center was immensely helpful with the air inflation area. He helped us inflate the tires and then taught us how to do it for next time! Lindon, was also kind enough to find the correct help for us even though he was on his break. Great customer service. Gives me some faith in humanity

Service was great!! I had the tires rotated and filled with nitrogen in preparation for a road trip. By the time I finished shopping inside the main store, the work was completed.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU ARE SCAMMED (this message is from a veteran/law enforcement family)would have left zero stars if possibleThey say 5 year warranty for tires but recently I went back cause I had a road hazard and they said the warranty is pro rated so basically had to buy a new tire there warranty really only covers air inflation which anyone can do at home. Discount tire charges 40 a tire for warranty and replaces the tire no matter what happens to it. Costco wanted 168 long story short Costco has good tires but terrible service and sneaky policies that are made to make them money and leave you with another bill. Go to discount tire or literally anywhere else. The shops at every corner in San Antonio provide the same quality of service and actually guarantee their work and hold up an actual warranty.

I'm pregnant, and the manager confronted me over an incident I wasn't involved in. Her employee at self checkout has been rude multiple times to us over the course of months. Someone I know had a verbal interaction with that employee, and their conversation progressed, and resulted in the person I know calling them a b*tch. I was not there or apart of the conversation when this took place. The manager then came to me immediately accusing me of calling her employee a b*tch, I immediately informed her that I pregnant and that I was not involved. She ignored me and continued on. I want to have limited stress during my pregnancy, and am extremely fearful of the possibility of losing my baby. The manger continued to harass me and my family over the incident. To the point where she walked to the exit speaking to my sister, who was also not involved. I had to physically get between her and my sister to guide my sister out the door. There's good employees at this Costco, and it's great that the manager wants to protect their employees, but the attitude of the worker at self checkout is genuinely rude and ruins the entire trip to Costco. We live out of the way already, so we hardly go to Costco. We will no longer be going to this location, for the safety of my unborn baby and family and my own mental well-being.

3.5 stars why? COSTCO MANAGEMENT ADDRESS THIS: The employee experience is hit or miss and now for my biggest issue. During the exiting process there is this Asian lady that looks your cart over like an FBI agent. She slows down the line and touches items that doesn't belong to her. She should not move things around that people OWN to look under items that are clearly visible from the sides of cart. No other employee does this - it's rude and disrespectful. There is no self checkout and the likelyhood of stealing is very low. Treat your customers, which pay a lot to shop here with respect not contempt. I recall during Covid she literally asked me to put a mask on my 3yr old, and I said no thank you. There is no law regarding inspecting my cart, we do it to be polite.

A shout to the optical department. I should have gotten the associate name. The optical department has never disappointed me. The service is incredible. From choosing a frame. Then changes my glasses to bi-folicals. They've adjusted my frames. I told my husband when we go in I'll get my frames tightened. I dropped them off while I picked up a prescription. The guy adjusted them, cleaned them & delivered them while I was in line at the pharmacy. Talk about over an beyond

Always spend more than I should. But definitely enjoy Costco for its value and variety.

Horrible place for tire service. If you buy tires here, don't count on the free rotations.

Dee at Member services was amazing! He went above & beyond to help me with an issue! We already love Costco but employees like Dee make me love it even more! Stephen B was also very helpful! Donna w food samples was so friendly! We really enjoyed talking to her. When we checked out Jesse (James) helped us at the self checkout. We were moving stuff from one basket to two & we were a two person circus. He was so helpful! The staff here is just phenomenal!

On July 12, 2023, I went to Costco in Selma, TX, to do a bit of shopping, while there, I dropped my hearing aids off for a routine cleaning. I went directly to the hearing aid section and was told that I should return in about 20 minutes. I retrieved the items I needed elsewhere and returned to the hearing aid section. I took a seat momentarily and waited near the counter. Very shortly thereafter, the same employee that I dropped the hearing aids off with, called out a name and made eye contact with me (It should be noted that I previously established a rapport with this employee, who is Hispanic. Although I am of Scandinavian descent, I speak Spanish fluently and have engaged she and one other Hispanic employee there at the hearing aid section in Spanish, on numerous occasions.). As I was not wearing my hearing aids, I was unable to clearly hear the name that she called. When I approached, I observed that the domes in the hearing aids were larger than those I typically have. I pointed that out and she politely replied that was the same size that they had when I gave them to her. Although this struck me as odd, as I was soon expecting individuals to show up at my house for a birthday party, I proceeded to walk away from the counter. As I was leaving the store, I put them in my ears. They felt odd, but I figured it might be due to the domes that were larger than what I was accustomed to. When I got to my car, I noticed that I was unable to hear the sounds around me with the normal clarity. I then attempted to use the Philips Hearlink app to turn up the volume. When this didn't work, I concluded that the hearing aids must have come "unpaired" somehow. I proceeded to pull out of the parking lot and leave. When I was in New Braunfels, approximately 15 miles away, I received a phone call from the same employee who had waited on me. She inquired as to whether I was still in the warehouse, to which I replied in the negative. She then explained that she had given me someone else's hearing aids and wanted to know if I was able to turn around and come back to the store. I conveyed to her that I could not do so due to the birthday party at my house that afternoon. I then indicated to her that I would be returning to San Antonio area the following day for a meeting. In the afternoon of July 13, I returned to the Costco to tender the hearing aids erroneously given to me and to retrieve my own. I spoke with another employee who was familiar with what had transpired and he proffered a profuse apology. I quickly put the hearing aids in my ears and left the store with some haste so as not to be late to my meeting. When I arrived at meeting, one of the individuals wasn't speaking loudly enough and I then endeavored to adjust the volume on the hearing aids. It was then that I discovered that the batteries were dead! Not only did I have to go out of my way to return someone else's hearing aids, my hearing aids were dead and would be of no use to me! I have been a loyal Costco customer for many, many years. Although my experiences have most often been very positive, what it is abundantly clear is that, in this instance, Costco missed the mark by a considerable distance.

This location is very standard for a Costco. They have all the good stuff including everyday clothing that you like to wear and great rotisserie chicken. I particularly enjoy the coffee section and I appreciate how the frozen food is a little bit of a higher level then your typical grocery store. It's always nice to get a cheap pizza on the way out.... The family really loves them! The bathrooms here are clean and customer service is great!

This is my favorite Costco in San Antonio. There is one really close to my house but they don't have gasoline so I visit this one more often. As a bonus it's next to a Total Wine. With gas prices what they are I try to combine my errands into one trip a week. Some of the things I always get when coming here are organic eggs in the 24 pack. Great price compared to HEB and they are always fresh. Love the frozen Handy crabcakes. A lot more crab than other stores and brands. I make my own bacon and pastrami and always buy my pork belly and brisket here. The quality is just better than elsewhere. So happy when they added self checkout lanes. I'm not buying for a huge family and the addition lets me get out quickly. I have also used Costco travel for cruises with better prices and extras than other travel sites. Just wish they offered Virgin Cruise Lines.
