I adopted a dog that had been abused. Had chronic ear problems. Couldn't hold him or even pet him without worrying I was going to get bit. He was very aggressive. I kept trying for 6 months to show him I loved him and not all people were mean. Took him to my vet who told me to take him back to the shelter cause he was going to really hurt me or someone one day. He bit the tech. Took 3 people to muzzle him at the vet. So I took him back and it broke my heart and the people who work at this humane society are horrible. The older lady should not be working with the people as she is extremely rude. Do not recommend anyone adopting a pet through them.
THE DOG I ADOPTED IS PONGO. I NAMED HIM GEORGE. I LOVED THIS DOG VERY MUCH BUT HAD TO RETURN HIM BECAUSE HE HAD AN EXISTING EAR INFECTIONS IN BOTH EARS THAT WOULD HAVE COST ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO FIX AND CONTINUE WITH EVERY MONTH. HE IS NOT GOOD WITH CHILDREN. HE TRIED TO BITE MY GRANDDAUGHTER THE FIRST TIME SHE CAME OVER. IF I TRIED TO PICK HIM UP HE WOULD BITE ME. HE COULD BE LYING RIGHT NEXT TO ME ON THE BED AND ALL OF A SUDDEN HE WOULD JUMP UP AND BITE ME. HE SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN PUT UP FOR ADOPTION WITHOUT HAVING TREATMENT FOR HIS EARS. HE IS A DAMATIAN-POODLE MIX AND 7 YEARS OLD. WHEN I FIRST WENT IN TO GET HIM I WAS TOLD HE WAS 1 AND 1/2. THEN HE WAS 4 YEARS OLD IN REALITY HE IS 7. TOLD ME HIS EARS WERE MESSED UP BECAUSE HE WENT UNDER A FENCE AND HIS EARS GOT RIPPED UP. IN REALITY IT WAS ALL FROM HIS EAR INFECTIONS. HE BIT THE VET. AND EVEN THOUGH THEY SOLD ME A DOG WITHOUT TELLING ME THE TRUTH ABOUT ANYTHING I AM BANNED FROM EVER ADOPTING ANOTHER PET FROM THEM. I TRIED EVERYTHING FOR OVER 6 MONTHS TO HELP HIM AND LOVE HIM YET IM THE BAD PERSON? THIS IS SO WRONG!

I stopped by to View the facility and see what dogs are available for adoption. A man named Mike took me through to see the dogs and insisted on telling me each story even though I told him I didn't wish to hear about all of them & I am looking for a specific breed type, which is a Ranch breed, Border collie, Australian Shepherd, cattle dogs, etc. since I have livestock and those are the breeds that I prefer . Because of this, he was extremely rude to me stating that they wouldn't adopt me because I'm looking for something specific instead of wanting to hear about each dog available. I was very surprised at how I was treated and the stench of the facility

Your adoption form is more like an interrogation. Id rather rather buy from pet store now.

Very rude and very emotional. Got a call from them and immediately the lady talked about my application very rudely and said there is not a vet listed on the application, right cause I haven’t had one in years. Couldn’t get approved for a dog for our family due to previous cat not being up to date on vaccines but was a SUPER healthy cat with no issues and was attacked by a rattle snake which caused him to pass away. I told the lady about my dog I had for 12 years and where she was treated, she called the vet and they said they had no records of the dog being there. She told me they are a private company and are very strict about who gets animals, totally agree but she just cut me off and just didn’t have any respect. I’m just so heart broken about not being able to get a dog.

Very very nice facility. The staff were very personable and the animals were well cared for. They even have visiting rooms where you can spend time with multiple cats etc. Save a pet's life and adopt one today. I paid about $85 for my pretty kitty. They spade her and gave her shots for free.

Such wonderful people. They really helped us with a stray that landed at our home. Much appreciated and so thankful they were able to find a great individual to foster our friend. Just couldn't keep the dog at our home.

This place is awesome because of the staff. The staff care for the animals with great compassion and the clinic is always clean and they make the animals feel at home. I've fostered a few animals from the clinic and they made the experience very easy. The animals are all so cute. This place goes above and beyond any other animal service center in the area in my experience.

terrible customer service. i emailed asking a question about spay services and whoever was responding couldn’t even be bothered to answer. immediately they just said i should go to a different clinic and that they shut their waitlist. i didn’t need to join a waitlist right now- i was just trying to get information but they couldn’t even offer that.updating on 11/7: jackie, who is in charge of spay and neuter services, called me today to apologize for the emails. she walked me through their process and told me what their waitlist looked like. i feel better after speaking with her and encourage anyone looking for information on spay/neuter services to ask for her.
