A beautiful hotel in the heart of NASA / Kemah areaThe rooms are new and well kept. Kids love the big swimming pool.Nearby activities: Minutes away from NASA space center and the Kemah Boardwalk. Surrounded by great restaurants and right across the lake. The beach is also minutes away.

Second update: third year staying at the hotel, still very pleasant, and the beds are just as comfy, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! Lots of construction going on, but that's to be expected.Visited the area last year, and enjoyed my stay so much, that stayed again this year. Just a short drive from NASA, and the Kemah boardwalk. Not close to Houston, but the drive to Houston isn't bad at all. I'd say you're about a 40 minute drive from other fun stuff in Houston. The room was very spacious for the price, and the bed was crazy comfy. Breakfast is pretty basic (but adequate), but do yourself a favor and check out Billy's donuts down the road for some kolaches.Rooms: Spanish spacious room, comfy bed and pillowsNearby activities: 10 minute drive to NASA, 10 minute drive to the Kemah boardwalk

My husband and I stay at this hotel due to an accident we were involved in. Heather at the front desk was always so helpful and always had a smile on when assisting us. She made our stay very comfortable and amazing. I wish hotels had more front desk agents like her.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was a Suite and it was very spacious! The beds were both very soft and comfortable! The gentleman and lady who worked the front were both a delight!! I saw several reviews complaining about a smell which we did not experience. Everything was clean and fresh! As well as fussing about breakfast variety..the gentleman was upfront while checking in and told us they no longer offered a full breakfast bar which was ok with us as my family isn’t breakfast people anyway. There was still cereal, bagels and other options available. The pool was nice and clean and they provide you with pool towels as well. What really sold us was that they are pet friendly! We were very thankful for this because our fur babies travel everywhere with us!! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

We were here for an extended stay for work, my room, a king, was extremely large , excellent bed, table and work stations, couch, coffee table and sitting chair. The cleaning staff, front desk staff and breakfast staff were all extremely friendly and professional, helping me with any questions or concern that I had. There are a few restaurants within walking distance , just a few miles from the Johnson space Center.Washers and dryers, 2 of each , all worked very well and were $2.00 @side. Ice machines on all the floors worked well, I had zero complaints with the folks hereThanks again!

*4.5 stars* Overall a great experience! The rooms were spacious and climate-controlled, the beds were comfy, and everything seemed fresh and clean, and the staff was pleasant. Breakfast is perfectly fine, especially because it's free. My biggest issues were that there tended to be a lot of noise from doors slamming, and I did see quite a few hairs in the shower upon-check in. I will definitely be back.

What started out as a pleasant experience over the phone, ended in a nightmare when we arrived. I called to ask about a few amenities and spoke with Sergio. He suggested I book over the phone with him and said he would put the rooms next to each other and leave a note that we needed to check in early. His awesome customer service assured me that this was the perfect hotel. When we arrived, the lady at the front desk was overly rude when I told her we were here to check in. She bit my head off and said she could not check us in early. She didn't bother to try to pull up the reservation and cut her eyes a few times. I asked for a manager and she said there was not one available.i asked her to call one, when she did, the lady on the phone immediately got defensive and assured me the lady at the front desk did not have an attitude. But she was not there to witness it. She told me she was on her way. She told me they did not have rooms available until 3 because of a large group that was there. I told her what was told to me by Sergio and she rolled her eyes. She went ahead and checked us in and repeatedly slammed my card or whatever needed to be handed to me on the desk. She kept sighing and acting like me and my family were an inconvenience. I asked her after the next time she sighed and slammed the paperwork on the desk, would she like us to leave. She replied " I mean I can cancel it if you want" I told her she is catching an attitude with me for no reason. When we walked off to get a cart for the luggage her and the lady from the front desk started talking about my family in Spanish, not knowing I am fluent in Spanish as well. Very unprofessional !! We only stayed because the kids were exhausted from an 8 hour drive. When we got to the room it was sitting at 80 degrees which let me know it had been vacant. My sister's room reeked of dog urine and feces. I guess she thought this was okay because my sister had a cat. Every time we asked for pool tiles or extra blankets for the concrete like sofa beds, she had an attitude but was extremely nice to the Hispanic or Caucasian guest that came up to her. We checked out on the second day and decided to stay at a friendlier hotel down the street. The customer service there was phenomenal and the rooms were cool and clean for the same rate. My kids kept getting locked in the bathroom that had no lock on it. The ice machine was full of mold and the outside doors that required a key did not work. Don't waste your time or money here, they obviously don't like a certain kind here and will take their frustrations with lack of training on their end out on guest. I'll attach the photos of the ice machine, eye sores, and safety issues on the other review so that you won't think I am lying.

0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!! What started off to a great stay wound up that we will never stay here again. We 0/didn’t realize that hotels are doing away with the indoor locks. My niece who is 2 yrs old is a runner and figured out how to open the door. We had to set up a chair in order to stop her from being able to open the door (which is a fire hazard)! Also our phone wasn’t working and was never fixed. Another thing is the breakfast is terrible! As much as you are charged per night it’s a terrible selection. Just bread, pastries, and cereal along with fruit. We weren’t expecting a huge breakfast but at least some pancakes, waffles, or scrambled eggs. Don’t advertise that you have a breakfast with eggs & waffles and then disappoint guests with false advertisement. What really took the cake was the Director Sergio Piñeda. He really let it be known that we should be appreciative that he’s Latino and that he owns the hotel. He even had the nerve to tell my mom “You tell me where you will find a room as big as yours for $150/night!” He really showed how arrogant he was and all that mattered to him was his bottom line. We stayed here because my aunt booked rooms for her wedding guests. Another wedding guest also found 3 cockroaches in their bed.
