Children’s lighthouse was the first daycare I brought my daughter to. I was extremely hesitant to start her in any center. Children’s lighthouse put me at ease, I love the ability to watch my daughter on the cameras. They are so friendly and attentive. My daughter thrived here and learned so much! I would recommend them to anyone!

We love this center. Our daughter went during the summer and we decided to keep her here because she enjoys it that much. We also have our six month old here and they are so attentive to him! All the teachers are amazing!

My son has been enrolled in Prek-3 here for a couple months so far and loves it! He is thriving and happy at “school” with Ms. Lorna. He talks about his friends here and we’ve seen a huge improvement in his speech/social skills. He especially enjoys the tabletop activities and outdoor playground time. The facility is clean and the staff are friendly and organized. Logan is happy here and we are glad we found this place. We will be enrolling our daughter here too.

My youngest daughter has been going to Children's Lighthouse since they opened up in Seabrook. She was two and I have watched her flourish and grow while in their care. I couldn't have found better care givers. I feel completely at ease while she is there and I know she is well taken care of, well fed, and well loved. I wish they had been around when my older three children were in daycare. I can't say enough great things about this center.

I Love Children’s Lighthouse in Seabrook!! The staff is very understanding to my preferences for my baby. They always have a friendly attitude and greet every child on first name basis. Very organized and super clean!

After moving my son to a new facility, I have come to realize the care he received at children's lighthouse at Seabrook was unacceptable and neglectful. My son started at 6 months and I didn't feel comfortable in the beginning sending solid foods as viewing the cameras, the kids weren't always monitored while eating. So he only had bottles. My child went an entire day not being given his bottle. So he had nothing to eat for the entire day, from around 10 am until 345 pm (for a 6 month old this is unacceptable, or any kid). I should have pulled him out right then and there but I didn't. He missed bottles/being fed on 4 other occasions. Sadly, I couldn't find a daycare in our area with availability. It was heartbreaking to watch my baby sign "eat" or "milk" over and over to be ignored and left crying on the floor. The center claims they teach the kids sign language but they don't, they don't even acknowledge or respond to it. Sadly, my son stopped signing to us altogether. He reacted when we signed to him but he stopped signing to us. They seem to care more about keeping the room at capacity rather than addressing the care that is being provided to the children already enrolled. Myself as well as other parents complained about children being left in activity centers for too long. Like the bottle situation, we were told repeatedly the issue would be addressed but it never got better. My son was left in the activity center for an hour, taken out, fed, diaper changed and placed back in the activity center by another teacher who had just came from a lunch break who likely didn't know he had already been in there for an hour. I called to ask them to get my son out of the contraption and was told by the front desk they were currently on a tour and there was nobody to go to the room and ask. So obviously they didn't want to walk over to address a child currently being neglected and cared more about getting someone else's money. The center itself smells good and is very clean however, my son constantly had dried boogers in his face and hair when I would pick him up for the day. They changed his diapers constantly but he somehow always got yeast infections that we had to get medication for. We would get it cleared up over the weekend but by the end of the week it would be back like clockwork. We even provided a tub of A&D cream that we asked to be applied at diaper change because of his sensitive skin as well as butt paste for if he was red and it never got used regularly until about 2 weeks before we pulled him out and us constantly asking and finally showing them how red he was getting. With the constant diaper changes I'm assuming he just wasn't being cleaned properly. We also didn't like that in a room of babies 6 to 12 months old they expected the kids to only have one nap for the whole day. My husband would tell them if my son woke up early and would be ready for a nap sooner to be told by the teacher "we prefer they all nap together at noon". Again, I accepted this as normal but my son is back on a 2 nap schedule at the new facility. Finally, the overcrowding of the rooms is a problem. The ratio for infants is 4 to one teacher or 2 teachers can monitor up to 10 kids. I know for a fact saw more than 10 babies on at least 2 occasions. When I asked who the extra baby was when I picked my son up was told it was a staff members child. I have not yet filed a complaint with the state but after speaking with other parents who removed their children and experiencing better care at the new facility feel as if I should. I struggled with this review because I feel bad for the workers constantly working at capacity and clearly struggling to maintain adequate care with the demands of the job. I place a lot of blame on management or owners failing to remedy the situation and offer more support to their workers so that these incidents could be remedied. After speaking to other past parents I know now I am not alone in my experiences with this

I love this childcare facility! My daughter was always so happy to go there every morning and happy when I would pick her up. The staff are all very friendly and the place is always welcoming and inviting. I highly recommend! It is a little pricey but honestly you get what you pay for and worth every penny.

Children’s Lighthouse is by far the best. I took my daughter out of a daycare that had lied to me and just want up to par for my daughter’s needs. I searched for 6 months and found Children’s Lighthouse of Seabrook. I love it and I love everyone here. My daughter loves it too. I love how they do curriculum, have dancing, play in the water. My daughter’s speech has got so much better since being there. Miss L in my book is the best. I will always recommend them to anyone.

Let me just start by saying this school has been nothing but amazing to me and my family. The school speaks for itself when you walk in it’s just beautiful like a breath of fresh air my son has never been to a daycare before and was very scared too start him anywhere within 3 days I stopped look at the live cameras he LOVES going too school. I’ve seen some horrible comments on facebook you can’t believe everything you see online GO in there and give it a chance my son will be going too kindergarten and is more than ready I’m so grateful to have found this daycare thank you for everything I have a pice of mind when I drop him off and honestly I don’t worry about him.and as a mom that’s a big deal. When he gets in the car he tells me all about his day . He’s excited too go school and that’s all that matters he brings home work and I get pictures throughout the day of my baby this will be his 3rd year there (idk why I’m just making a review now) but I should have said something a long time ago I just LOVE THIS PLACE. Thank y’all for everything you’ve done for my baby

We have had such a wonderful experience at Children’s Lighthouse in Seabrook! This being our first child, it was really tough to hand over care to someone else, but we have the utmost confidence and reassurance we picked the right daycare. Our son is loved, cared for, and you can tell they keep everything clean. Staff/teachers pay attention to any special needs or concerns we have regarding him, and it’s especially nice to be able to chime into the video monitoring system while we’re at work. Would definitely recommend Children’s Lighthouse in Seabrook!

Our family is incredibly blessed by the hospitality and thoughtfulness demonstrated by the lovely staff and owners at CL-Seabrook. We have a 3 y.o. who started at this school nearly a year and a half ago. With concerns of COVID, high cost of babysitters, and a variety of daycares to choose from in the area, it was serendipitous that we found this place. This location comes fully stocked with:1. Owners (Frank and Tanya) who are actively engaged in the Seabrook community (I.e. Seabrook Anniversary, Officer Day) and constantly serve to make improvements to staffing and facility (I.e. actively replace all overly used toys and outdoor equipment, decorate the school according to each holiday, replace flooring and repaint even if there is a slightest imperfection, hire staff to decrease ratio of students to teachers).2. Incredibly kind and joyful Director (Merari) and dedicated AD (Kathleen). Their love and care for the children and family they serve is palpable. It is an understatement to say they go above and beyond what is expected. They go beyond beyond beyond. We KNOW if we need any support for our child, these two have got our backs, 100%, take it to the bank.3. Teachers (Lorna, Alexis, Claudia, Amy, Taylor, Ms. T) who we love and trust. There has historically been some turnaround, especially during COVID, but the trajectory has always been in the right direction. They are getting the right people in the bus and this understandably takes time. Our son luckily has never had issues with any of the teachers. They have all treated him with loving kindness and respect (I.e. holding him when he refuses to nap, correcting misbehavior in a firm but gentle way, always alert to his overall physical and emotional well-being).4. Food that is prepped timely and with care by Stephanie. She is nothing but smiles. A true joy that these kids take for granted not having experienced the lunch ladies I was acquainted with in my youth.5. Cameras and Procare App allows me to work at peace knowing that I can check in on my son and get updates on my phone real-time (I.e. how much did he eat for lunch, how much did he nap, what is he learning and what activities is he doing today). My wife and I have toured nearly every daycare in this area. There is simply no comparison. NONE. Parents are truly at the mercy of the daycare, as supply is low and demand can be high. It’s evident in other schools that they are aware of this. They don’t seek to make improvements. They are complacent with the status quo and the kids are there just killing time. Kids at CL-Seabrook are different. They laugh and play well together. They are polite and caring to each other. All of this doesn’t trickle down from the corporate franchise office. It’s the leadership from parent owners, Frank and Tanya, and the thoughtful execution from Merari and Kathleen that have made this place special.

It was very hard for me to know that I was going to have to leave my baby at a daycare when my maternity leave ended. But they made my transition very easy. I know my baby is in good hands every morning I drop her off. She is always a happy girl when I pick her up because she was well taken care of. They take care of all the kids very well and I love seeing all the happy faces every morning and afternoon. So happy my husband and I found Children’s Lighthouse.
