This was my first time visiting in this store. I went there with a friend. I thought like the selection was just so so. Also I felt like the store could have been organized a little bit better. To be fair I didn't walk around the whole store so I can't really speak to every department. But the clothing department that I did visit was pretty lackluster in my opinion.

Horrible service from a weird grumpy old lady lol, went to do a return a she did not make it a pleasant experience at all! First time I've had an experience like this at Bealls, her name is Doddy.

I really like this place as their selection and prices are really great, but unfortunately I had an annoying experience with an employee during my last visit. I came in for a small bit of Christmas shopping, and the whole time I was there I had an employee follow me around the store. Everywhere I went she shadowed me and was doing a very bad job pretending to stock/organize items on the shelf. She was quite literally breathing down my neck. I’d say she stayed about 2-3 feet from me the whole time I was there. It made me extremely uncomfortable, so much so that I had a hard time browsing for gifts. I WASN’T stealing! I was just shopping for gifts for my secret Santa party. As someone who also works in retail, I can tell you this was extremely unprofessional and out of line. You couldn’t make it any more obvious that you thought I was a thief. Were you shocked to see me pay for my items before leaving??
