Was so glad to find such a good diesel repair shop so close to home, friendly people and great service. They repaired our F350 dually and Excursion, and it didn't cost us an arm and a leg! Can't recommend them highly enough.

This place is where I and our family go for auto repairs. My car is a Honda Accord, and they do all the work on my vehicle. They have repaired a broken front axle, done other maintenance work, and helped my husband with A/C work on his Ford Explorer. My husband's car had previously been worked on twice for the AC with no permanent fix. They most recently helped my son with his 2008 BMW that was leaking coolant. Their recommendations for body work and tire/ alignment work have also been spot on.

Twice they have saved the day. Two times we have had out-of-town guest drive in and have serious car troubles. Both times they saved the day! As a matter of fact, when we walked in yesterday, there was a woman in the waiting room singing their praises, and how they had saved her day as well. They are ethical, trustworthy, helpful, and kind. I highly recommend.

If you are anywhere in East Texas and need a very knowledgeable, HONEST, and simply amazing "home" for auto repair, this is the place. I started repairing my own vehicles from age 14. I was good. I rebuilt several lawnmower engines (one way a 14 year old can supplement his income), three motorcycle engines, and a GM (Buick) 350 engine (that engine was sweet!). When it made sense to focus more on the career I was building and let someone else do my car repairs, I was very fortunate. I had three excellent, honest mechanics through the decades. All were fantastic! When I moved to East Texas, I thought I would have a problem. Nope. A friend recommended South Franklin to me. I went and can only say I was blown away! Fair, expert, honest, and timely. Darla, the office manager will impress you with her own knowledge! Plus, she is friendly, kind and, well, you just want to be her friend!This IS the place!

The folks over at South Franklin Auto Repair are the best! My wife and I moved to Mount Vernon a couple years ago and South Franklin has been our go-to for repair work and inspections. They are very accommodating, friendly, and do outstanding work.

Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else - take your vehicle to South Franklin. The mechanics are top notch; they will FIND the problem; FIX the problem and CHARGE A REASONABLE RATE for their time and all parts used. Our family has been doing business with South Franklin for years. In fact, so long it's been generational! I drive from PA to TX several times a year and I typically have my car checked before making the return trip to PA (over 1,300 miles). My brother, Ernie, lives in the Dallas area but makes the drive to South Franklin for regular maintenance. It's important to trust your mechanic and our family has complete faith in South Franklin.
