I had an issue while driving down I-10 and ended up here. While I ended up not getting work done, the worker was very kind and straight up with me about my car. I really appreciate his honesty, and taking the time out of his day to open my hood and give me advice.

Terrible mechanic and service. My husband dropped off our truck, and he let him know that we were not sure of the issue but explained what happened right before it broke down. After several months and phone calls for an update (we had to contact him EVERY time), he finally told us it needed a new transmission. Another month or more goes by, and he finally got the new transmission installed, and we are able to get the truck back. We instantly have to take it back due to it running so bad, and he tells us it needs a new motor. We did not feel he was properly diagnosing the truck, so we got the truck back after him having it over a YEAR! We decided to take the truck to a new mechanic, and he called us within 3 days and let us know the ONLY issue was a crossed threaded spark plug! It was a $250 fix!!! It is appalling that this mechanic had us spend thousands to not even fix the issue and that he wanted us to spend thousands more. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!

???⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️SPECTACULAR!Limped off Interstate 10 with a bad radiator, 1,000 miles from home, at 7 a.m., and don't know what to do or where to go...Google shows A&R Automotive 16 miles away. I was waiting 8n front when they got there. Because I was a traveler in distress, they helped me immediately and I was back on the road before 11 a.m.!Fair prices, reliable, and friendly service!I strongly recommend them!

Bought a vehicle from them in 2020 that they did repair on and the original owner could not pay for they promised started a title lean on vehicle still have not received. Refuses to give me the title or my money back. Waited three years for this. We even asked if he would buy it back. Offered 100 when I paid 2500.

I was an hour and a half out from my trip to Austin when broke down in Schulenburg, TX. A tow to the Mini Cooper dealership in Austin was going to cost $700 but fortunately A&R was only a mile and a half away. They jumped in to diagnose the issue right as I got there, ordered the part and had me on my way later that afternoon! I highly recommend A&R and will now take this route in case I have car issues on future Austin trips.

Mid move to my new duty station, my car began overheating. As soon as they opened up shop the owner was in my car diagnosing the problem. He managed to figure it out, order the part, and install it so I could get back on the road within a couple hours. The move was nothing but problems up until that point, but they got us back on track and went above and beyond to help us. If anyone is in need of help in the area, I would recommend this shop for anything. 10/10

I was stranded after AAA changed my tire and criss threaded the lug nuts. Rufino did not take advantage of the situation. Which he certainly could have. He charged me a fair price to fix the issue and got me home. Cheers to A&R

Traveling on interstate 10 we experienced engine problems. Stopped in to this automotive shop and had excellent service. Rufino took the time to help diagnose our problem.. Would highly recommend everyone use this business.
