I was 10 minutes late to the appointment, and still hardly had any wait. My dog needed his internal anal glands extracted and a bordetella shot. Everyone was very friendly. They even gave him his dose of Bracecto for me because I always have difficulty giving him pills. I've been bringing my dog here for at least seven years. They're always friendly and understanding and you can tell they enjoy working with animals.

I was not impressed. I was wanting to switch to this vet clinic for 2 yrs now. Reason was because they advertise being specialized in more areas such as allergies for starters. And the other for my care for my dogs pancreas. Well this advertisement was false. I asked the tech about it before the vet came in to see my dogs. She said no. They don't have any specialists. And ironically specifically mentioned skin. That was my 1st red flag. She was very attentive and compassionate tho. I hoped for the best when seeing the vet. Well that was a let down. His vibe rushing into the room swept in a air of "let's get this done & over". He had that attitude like his heart wasn't into it and he was just there for a paycheck. I felt all of my concerns were belittled and not important. I had to save up for a few weeks for this appt that I had been looking forward to. I had some Serious legitimate concerns I Needed to be addressed for my dogs health. I was blown off like it was all just "normal". I wanted help on their diets to help them lose weight. No suggestions. I left out of there with NO ANSWERS. The same questions, concerns, and right where I was before I walked in there. And it cost me almost $500. Yes my 1 dog had labs taken that cost over $200. I feel ripped off. Robbed. Vet visits are not cheap. And for a vet to blow off my concerns as if they are a normal part of life is just unprofessional and irresponsible. Not to mention plainly criminal. And then charge u an arm and a leg. I Regret wasting my hard earned money on Nothing. I saved up my money to take my dog to a professional for help with their issues. Not to have them disregarded and be sent away ripped of $500 and with NO SOLUTIONS. Do Not Waste your hard earned money at the vet office. I am so angry I'm practically in tears. I can't just go to another real veterinarian now bc this clinic basically robbed me of the money I had for That Reason. I'm appalled this doctor even has a license.

Schertz Animal Hospital is very dear to my heart. We have been with them for 20 years! They always give our pets the best quality care and compassion. The doctors and staff are amazing❣️❣️❣️❣️????

Dr Rodriguez is the best! I have very nervous puppies and he sits down on the floor and talks to them and treats them like they are the most important animal in his world right then. I have recommended him to many of my friends as well as colleagues and all of them have loved him. I cannot recommend him enough!

Dr. Rodriguez is friendly and compassionate. My fur baby hurt his paw and needed pain meds. The tech handed me the blister pack “ there are six pills one a day.” I Go up front pay my bill. I get home open the package , blister is empty. Open the next there is a pill. Call the office they say bring it back and let us look at packaging. They tell me i only have 3 there, they give me 3 more and say you need to pay for the 5 you have. U only paid for 1 pill. If you originally said I had 6 and that was what you charged me for. why would you then say sorry you didn't pay enough. Error on your part does not translate to the customer paying for your mistake. The office manager did not introduce herself to me. Her people skills and customer service skills are lacking. I have taken my fur babies here for well over 11 yrs, highly disappointed.

Just switched to Schertz Animal Hospital with my 2 dogs - so far they both like it there , I like their friendliness when you come in, everyone I met was courteous and knowledgeable , it is very clean and the Vet was great. Looking forward to coming there for a long time.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Rodriguez and his Team. He truly cares about my furbaby, Chloe Daisy and takes her condition seriously. I left the appointment feeling confident in the diagnosis and treatment plan.
It’s clear that I can trust Dr. Rodriguez with my furbaby health and well-being. I am confident with Chloe Daisy upcoming surgery on Monday 9/23 that Chloe Daisy is going to be in good hands under the care of Dr. Rodriguez & his Team.
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported. I could see how well & excellent the **Team Work** among the staff in Schertz Animal Hospital. Ariel, Technician also did such an amazing job with Chloe Daisy.

I highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez, overall Schertz Animal Hospital to anyone in need of care of their pets.

I just started taking my dog for care, the first annual appointment was wonderful and I'm looking forward to establishing a long partnership caring for my animals here.
Update: Since the time of my first visit, I've added two cats and a bunny to our family. The care for all four animals has been phenomenal.

We have gone here with our 3 dogs for years. My wife brought one in to be looked at and they gave my wife two different medicines. My wife gets home and gives the prescribed amounts to our dog. Later we get a call from the clinic saying they gave my wife the wrong medicine dosages!!! Fortunately it was a lower amount than what she needed or we could be having other issues. I get to the clinic to swap out the meds and they tell me pills are missing. They said they gave my wife 10 pills but there was only 4 in there. I called my wife and she said she gave her 1 and 1/2 pills per the directions so someone put less pills in the container but the lady at the front basically said they gave us 10 so apparently my wife or I are now taking our dogs medicine. Then they charge me for the “missing pills” then charge me $6 for those missing pills and the increased dosage. This is poor service first they give my dog the wrong dosage, they give us the wrong pill count and then they want to shake me down for missing pills we never had and the $3.50 for the increased dosage! I guess gas and my time are free.
If you are thinking of using them for your services and get any meds make sure you count every pill. I guess I need to start looking for a new vet. Who ever is in charge of this clinic really needs to reevaluate their procedures. Even if no pills we missing the fact you gave the wrong dosage and made us come back should have been worth $3.50. Piss poor customer service.

We've been taking our pets here for a couple of years now. The doctors and vet techs are great! When it was time to say good bye to our sweet boy Max..they were very kind and made the difficult process as smooth as possible. Max was given great care towards the end of his life and I am very grateful for that. I highly recommend them.

I am new to San Antonio and was looking for a new vet. They were able to get me in so quickly. They were wonderful to my corgi. She felt comfortable around the staff. I would highly recommend!

Able to get an appointment within a day for non emergency visit
Dr Mossberg was thorough and answered questions- he also took the time to discuss my other dog who was not being seen that day.
The office is clean and large enough to give animals some space.
The office staff is helpful and friendly.

The Schertz Animal Hospital personnel were amazing. Very caring in telling us of the condition of our pet with probabilities of different results. They were also very patient in taking my calls to ask different questions. During that difficult time, they are by our side every step of the way.

Very pleased with the treatment CoCo and I received. Dr Mossburg was pleasant and gentle with CoCo. I was very anxious about CoCo’s condition but was reassured by both the doctor and staff. Typically, when I get stressed I get very chatty, so I apologize, but they handled me well also. Very good appointment, very little waiting.
