Dr. Rodriguez is amazing. But since he moved to this location. We can’t get any appointments takes weeks or months just for my children to be seen.
Son broke his arm “ sorry we have no appointments” kids sick we have no appointments.
Then I get scolded about why it’s taken so long for them to get there well child visit. Because I have had to take them to care now due to there lack of availability. Maybe y'all should stop taking on more patients when y'all can’t even properly serve the ones you have.

Dr. Stafford and all of the nurses and staff at this location are wonderful. They are so kind and attentive. Using the patient portal online is also a great feature and the staff are very responsive in "messages" when using the portal. 5/5.

My son has been with NEP since he was born.
Why do I keep going to Dr. Lama:
- great bedside manner! Very empathetic
- listens and answers questions patiently
- communication is efficient with staff, if I send a message through the portal, I get a response the same day.
- appointment is easy to make, we were able to go in for same day appointment accommodation for emergency sickness
- peace of mind of knowing I found a great doctor and office (this is HARD) finding quality healthcare shouldn’t be hard but it is. And we are soo glad NEP is there for us
There are so many doctor office that is on the way much more closer for us here in NB, however, we are never leaving dr. Lama.

Every time we report to our scheduled visits we wait anywhere around 20-30 minutes. When we became late to our appointment around 30 minutes lates even though the place look empty, possibly one child was in the waiting room, they returned us and charged with missed appointment fee for this. The accounting is being cheap even though the Dr services are good.

Dr. Stafford saved my sons life. he started having complications from surgery he had and was losing blood. After being ignored by the surgeon, we sought her professional opinion and she immediately took notice to his fatigue, pale appearance and fussiness. After taking my concerns into consideration she immediately checked his hemoglobin, which was considerably low. She then sent us to get more labs at he hospital following her lab results. After a blood transfusion, emergency surgery, and a 3 day ICU stay, she ultimately saved my sons life. Her, as well as nurse Krystal (hope im spelling that correctly) have ALWAYS been my children's number 1 advocate and after an amazing 3 year experience we are so pleased to say thank you and we absolutely LOVE this facility. Doctors, nurses, and all front staff are overly considerate and have always put my children health first no matter the circumstance. Dr. Stafford even called and checked on my son AND myself while in the icu and was in constant contact with the hospital. We will forever be a patient and huge fan of her and her team. We owe her everything.

Tried to get my son in here to see a doctor because we moved here, and online they said they accept new patients. Went into the office when it opened and the lady said they are not accepting him due to him being over the age of 4. This is sad! Please be aware! They need to update their information!

We followed Dr. Rodriguez. He’s great, but this office is not like what we had beforeThe worst part is getting in to be seen. Getting through on the phone system takes forever. It’s a terrible system, especially for a medical facility

Just spoke with Pam and she was PLEASED to say that they no longer accept ChampVA even though their website says they accept the insurance.

Amazing customer service. I needed my daughter seen asap and I was able to get a same day appt. The nurses were amazing, gentle and caring and were able to get me all the forms I needed for work and school. Highly recommend them. Denise, Ivonne and April are the best, always there when I need them. Dr Stafford is the absolute best, blessed to have her as my kid’s pediatrician. Dr Lama, Dr Rodriguez and Sarah are amazing as well, I’ve seen them all. Want your kids well taken care of, take them here!! Love NEPA!

I wish I could give zero stars. This practice has been ridiculous for every single visit my children have attended.Do not come here if you prefer to have any say in your child's care. They trump all your views medical ethical or even religious. Do not even bother asking for the manager for anything as she is completely unhelpful and not interested in providing adequate patient care.

Loved this office when we first started going after my daughter's birth four years ago. Since covid, it has been absolutely impossible to get in to for sick appts, and I've had to take both my kids to urgent care centers and pays tons of money, because pediatric associates "can't get anyone in for a few weeks". Today, I called because I think my son has croup, to ask what else I can do to make him more comfortable, (I have a wellness appt scheduled for his this Friday), and they cancelled his wellness appt stating he can't be seen sick, unless it's a "sick child appt", but they don't have any of these sick child appts available any time soon. I've had enough. Heed my warning and save your time and money and go somewhere else! Dr. Trimble is a fabulous and we will miss his as our pediatrician, but the way this office works ruins it for everyone!

My son is seeing Dr. Trimble since he was born. My son had severe rash so i messaged Katrina that the prescription that Dr.Trimble gave was not working for him. So she told me to call and scheduled an appointment so that he can bee seen. The receptionist told me that Dr.Trimble wasn’t around that week and if i want, my son can still be seen that week but with a different provider. But i chose to wait to see Dr.Trimble so i scheduled it the next week. I drove 45mins with a sick baby only to find out that there was no appointment schedule for my son. So whoever the person i talked to,did not put my son in their schedule. The receptionist told me that they can still take my son but we have to wait for hours for my son to be seen. As to how many hours, she had no clue. I was frustrated because this is the second time it happened to us. Patients face consequences if they are late, and have to pay fee for no show/no cancellation. But guess who face the consequences of their mistakes? THE PATIENTS AS WELL. This is not fair at all and no parents should be experiencing this esp if you are already worried sick about your son’s health. Will be transferring my son to a different provider.Update: So they responded to my review. First of all, when i was there in the clinic the receptionist went to the side office and talked to someone(im guessing that’s the manager/head in that clinic). She did not even talked to me or addressed my concern. They just let me go and my son. Second, you have my info/number. If you guys really care about your patients, let alone not happy with your service, don’t you think YOU SHOULD BE THE ONE REACHING OUT?

I made an appointment 3 months ago to get my child seen by the pediatrician. Apparently a decision was made in the interim to stop taking insurance for new patients. The problem is-- I am not notified until the day before the appointment. My child still doesn't have a pediatrician and I have to start from scratch to wait to be seen by a new provider. I'm frustrated-- you should do better. If you are going to kick people out, don't accept the appointment and cancel 3 months later or make an exception. Ridiculous--

The 1 star review is more for their answering service and front desk.Firstly, the number that's listed online for their Schertz location is wrong. All it did was beep, everytime I called.I had to go through my phone history from August of this year to get the right number to call and whenever I was transferred to their office, it would automatically hang up.Then! When you get disconnected, they send a text to go online and schedule an appt via website or text.BUT, that service is also temporarily out of order!I had to call numerous times, everytime, before finally speaking to someone.Secondly, I work at a doctors office, a different kind of doctor, but still.I work in the health care industry and the doctors I work for would never turn down a walk in patient/ emergency patient. My children have seen Dr. Rodriguez since they were infants and have never experienced a lack of patient empathy until he shut down his own practice and started practicing here.I had an incident a month and a half ago where, again, it was an emergency situation and they wouldn't allow my son to be seen by a doctor.I am not a fan of how this office operates, I only continue going here because of Dr. Rodriguez.

I've been taking my kids to this location for 11 years. Our first provider was Nurse Practitioner Katie Russell, and I could not have been happier with the care my kids received. However, in the last year I have not been able to get my child in to be seen. All same day appointments are given out by 0800, and there never seems to be any availability for appointments for sick children at ANY location. I end up having to take my child to urgent care and she'll out hundreds of dollars despite having insurance.Care is great if you can get in...
