This place put two kittens on display at petco, but when I tried to adopt, they turned me down because I would like to allow them outside during the day when they get older, like I do with my cats iv had for years. I bring them inside before sundown. They didn't even look into my home or anything and said they won't adopt "these" kittens to a home that let's them outside but said they could find me "other" kittens that can go outside. Their logic is messed up and I believe they are only using these two to draw attention and when people look to adopt, they are trying to force them into adopting other kittens. They then insulted me by saying they were talking about putting "semi-feral" cats on my property. I have 3 dogs, 1 cat and 10 chickens. None of my pets are feral and the only pets that don't stay inside every night, are the chickens who get closed up in the chicken coup every night. These people have a twisted view of people who live outside of town and have property that pets can enjoy during the day. If you ever want to adopt from these people, make sure to tell them you intend to keep them locked up for their entire life.

The organization/business is hardly ever open. Not only that but they are unresponsive to emails, unresponsive to phone calls and voicemails, unresponsive to pet adoption applications and the information on their website regarding the pets that need a home is outdated. I’ve tried to reach out for over a week now and haven’t gotten any assistance whatsoever. I’d suggest searching for a pet elsewhere.

These people will treat you like they believe you are naive and negligent because you would like your pets to be allowed to have outdoor access once in a while.

This place is amazing! I would recommend Home for Pets to anyone! Thank you Carol! I was unable to take in a few cats but Carol reached out and made sure that I would be updated on if they found some homes for these sweet fur babies. These cats are healthy and are fed very well and are given lovens everyday all they need is a place to call home. Again thank you so much for your kindness and thoughtfulness!
