Not impressed. Pulled in to pick up a prescription only to find out that they were closed for lunch. The time? 1:27 pm (our clock is synched to the atomic clock, so it's pretty accurate). Just rolled over to that as we pulled up.
So we waited thinking "oh they must be closed 1 to 1:30 for lunch, we'll just hang". Of course we were guessing as there was NOTHING written on the cardboard nor any other sign in the window to tell anyone what the times were.
At 1:30 someone comes over the intercom to say they were closed for lunch. I asked what times and was told 1:30 to 2:00. I said, "oh was hoping you opened back up at 1:30 since there's nothing displayed out here for times and we've been here since 1:27" (suggesting their clock was fast or they closed early) she said, "well the clock says 1:31 in here". Oops. Do that math.
Why close for that half hour anyhow? Stagger your staff so a window / counter is always open, just post the sign that a pharmacist is not available for that half hour if there are questions.
No offense, this isn't a compounding pharmacy (very few are, and none of the chain stores are to my knowledge), so it's not like the pharmacist is whipping out the mortar and pestle and grinding the base chemicals into a powder, mixing them to the proper dosage, and putting the powder in a capsule.
This, like the vast majority of pharmacies, simply go to the shelf where all the medications they have in stock are already there, open up the bigger jar, count out the number the doctor put on the Rx script and put them in a small bottle (if this is not automated now), seal the big jar, Back on the shelf, put the label on the smaller bottle... boom.
Like I said, no offense, but a trained chimp could do that much.
What we needed to pick up had already thru that process and was stapled in a bag.

Cvs has so much to offer. I appreciate the minute clinic at this cvs location. The NPs are professional and courteous.

Outdoor sign looks cheap and like a child put it together. Very flimsy so a little wind will tear this apart.

Called the pharmacy and waited 20 minutes until I just dropped the call. I could hear when I’m supposed to be ansewered and then they just put me back on queue without even answering. Happened at least 5 times. You know when it’s your turn, you can hear it, but they just kept putting you back on queue. Maybe they’re hoping that everyone in queue will just drop the call.

I would not recommend this particular store, I was followed around and ask if I needed help. Which I politely said no, then still didn’t achieve what I needed too, the store didn’t know how to check me out using OTC Wellness Medical insurance card I provided to make the purchase. Called back to try an figure out why card didn't work, and manager was rude and called me a lier about my ins card. Suggested I come back into the store, no sir after that phone call, I felt some type of way after the experience, and will no longer go into this store if I can help it, just for those reasons………… and I’m giving one star because u have to post review

They are not a good pharmacy. Too many issues with stock and getting doctor's approval. Understaffed and overloaded. The front end is different. The front end cashier was wonderful and accommodating. Great hair products!

OldMalePharmacists on the weekend has lied about discount coupons for prescriptions. Out and out lied!! I called and gout a quote drove up and got something totally different from that old male pharmacist and had to call corporate to get it straightened out. He was mean and hateful when I spoke with him on the phone. When I needed my prescription filled he said he wouldn’t have it until Thursday. Another lie!!

This is the first time this has ever happened, I drove up to the pharmacy drive through and was told very nicely that it would be a few minutes before they could get to me, they were extremely busy and appreciated my patience. I really appreciated being told that instead of being ignored or be with you in a minute when it's actually 10 minutes. About 4 minutes into my wait, the pharmacy technician named Jessica came to the window and thanked me for my patience. It is this kind of great customer service that really is appreciated by the consumer, and I told them so. Kudos to the pharmacy staff at CVS on 3009 in Schertz!
