I like the convenience. However the prices on most of their items are much higher than HEB or Walmart.

Some items are a little more than the bigger chain grocery stores , probably because they don't have the purchasing power that comes with buying in volume . But the produce here is very nice and they have some items I can only find here . Also I don't have to wait for what seems like an eternity at the check out . The staff is always courteous

I popped in to pick up a Sara Lee pecan coffee cake. Left with a few things I could not find anywhere else. The cashiers were the best. Friendly, patient, good humored, like favorite Aunties.

Love this little store!! They have just about everything. Veggies are always fresh and last much longer than what you buy at Walmart. Reminds me of a friendly small town country grocery store.

What can I say but that you will find some cool and unusual items here. The meat market has a very good butcher. Check out the side freezer with catfish nuggets. Talk about great meat prices!!! And another freezer down the dairy isle carries items like chicken feet!!! This is a very special little grocery store. They have been around for quite a while now.

Arlan's is great for a quick stop in when you don't want to deal with HEB. It's a small store, but they have good produce and a wide variety of items I don't find at HEB.
