“Been using for many many years for a variety of pets. All the usuals done here ( spay/ neuters, check ups, vaccinations, flea prevention and heartworm medications, dental cleanings, micro chipping). Fair fair pricing. It's a non profit ya'll!!! Not for sick animals, though. Just fyi. They don't do this. It's a wellness clinic. Highly recommend for your fur babies!!”

“Parkwood Animal clinic has the most caring staff. I’ve had to have one of my babies put to sleep and they were so wonderful with me and my baby. I’ve also called just asking questions for certain needs and they were so caring and helpful. Cannot recommend them more for your fur-family needs!”

“Dr. Coleman and her staff are friendly and take time with each patient. We have Shiba Inu’s a breed not know great social skills and definitely tend to be dramatic. The staff took time to warm up to them and I could hear the happy chatter when they took them back for blood draws. The staff squealed: “Sheebs!” Which warmed my heart because Shibas usually don’t get a warm welcome. I will definitely go back such a great office and staff! I feel like I’m Family when I’m there?”

Cannot praise the staff and Dr. Smilie enough for explaining her symptoms and treatments and creating a comfortable environment for us. Everyone was so kind, patient and compassionate, and genuinely love the animals they work with.”

I had an emergency situation with my cat - they got us an appointment ASAP to have him examined and were able to effectively treat him for his injury. They were so gentle and caring with Marley. “The staff here are so kind and helpful! I wasn’t able to get an appointment same day as they were fully booked, so I called with some concerns about my cat Sammy and they got me in right away after listening to me. I was very anxious and they gave me all the reassurance I needed and made sure Sammy was in good shape. I am extremely grateful to have found a veterinarians office that truly cares about me and my pet and I plan on being a returning/regular customer!”

“Dr. Martin and staff are just the best! She had cared for my 20 y/o dachshund until his death a year ago and is now caring for my 15 y/o English Springer spaniel, keeping him comfortable and as pain free as possible from hip dysplasia.”

“We’ve been debating finding a new vet for Maggie for a while because her previous one made us feel like Maggie was just a dollar sign instead of our baby. Family Animal Hospital of Friendswood did the exact opposite. Dr. Nicoletti got up close and personal with Maggie and actually spent time discussing possible diagnoses and treatment options with us. We are still waiting to hear about her results, but they did tell us it wouldn’t be available until the middle of this week at the earliest.”

“Y'all are the BEST. Thank you for helping me with my baby girl! I was scared I was going to lose her. Everyone is wonderful!!! The best kindness, patience, understanding, communication. Would recommend y'all to anyone.”

“Dr. Mogas, is outstanding. Dr. Mogas takes the time to listen to me, she then does a full and complete examination of my pets - AND then she discusses the plan of treatment. Obviously our pets can speak to tell us what problems they're having - otherwise it may be easier (or not...) to figure things out. Therefore, veterinarians need to be great diagnostician's and you can't find a better, more considerate and caring veterinarian then Dr. Mogas.”

“I was surprised how quick it was even though there was a line. Just a little pushy about administering their particular heartworm medicine and somewhat condescending when explaining why ita better. I had been using heartworm medicine in pill form for both of my dogs and they have never had heart worms, going on 3 years now.”

“Took my puppy in yesterday because she wasn't feeling well. The service was excellent. Tech Sterling, and Vet Dr. Cox, were great. Got a call back today and had to pick up meds. The entire front staff is super friendly!”

“First visit. Seems clean, was not busy up front when we arrived. Taking off one star for the extended wait despite having an afternoon appointment and arriving early. Wish they had a separate area for kitties or that they'd put us in an exam room to wait. Our ex feral kitty in a carrier wasn't happy with all the dogs that were coming/going. Our technician and vet were worth the wait though, they were very friendly, answered all our questions & were very thorough with the exam. Thanks Dr. Ashley N Polasek!! You are an amazing vet!!!”

“I took my 10 year old dog here on a recent weekend after noticing a large mass on her shoulder that we initially thought might be inflammation due to an allergic reaction, but turned out to be a large lipoma. We were able to get in after a short wait time, and Dr. Plummer and her staff were able to examine my dog quickly. Dr. Plummer suggested an abdominal ultrasound as a precaution, and I'm so glad she did. Despite having no symptoms, my dog had a large mass on her spleen. We were able to schedule surgery with our regular vet the following week, and thankfully, the spleen (and lipoma of course) were benign. If Dr. Plummer hadn't have done the US, the mass could have ruptured, leading to a life threatening condition. I really appreciate VCA's care of my dog and Dr. Plummer and her staff.”
