Wow banks in Texas are awful, they charged me 8 dollars to cash a check cut through their bank. It took almost a half of an hour for them to do it. I got the luxury of watching them swindle an elderly gentlemen into a higher interest rate in front of me and when the old man called them out they tried playing him. Gross banking and worse customer service avoid this place and this bank!!!

Banked here for about twenty years; customer service is the worst. Have waited two weeks for my misplaced/lost debit card and now all bills past due. They offer no solution except wait or pay $25 fee to use FedEx to get another card sent. Am closing my account, going to Frost-they will issue my debit card in house and I will walk out of that location with my debit card that very day. Imagine-using technology to better serve your clients! My mom & daughter bank at Frost & receive excellent customer service. Put your money in a bank where the employees actually care and work FOR you, not against you. It is your money and you can choose where and who to trust it in place with. Amegy is THE WORST at customer service and as a bank, this is crucial.

Went there today 4 25 2021 to cash a 100 dollar check that I got from a scrap yard right down the road from them.. and they would not cash it because I didn't have a second form of I'd. My I'd is brand new no issues. Anyway went to Dickinson with my birth certificate as card old bank card and said they only need one form of identification. Amegy will never get any of my business ever..I think 1 star is over rated

I personally haven't banked at Amegy Bank, but I know this bank has had a big impact on the city of Santa Fe. I have been to plenty of events where the bank opened up their doors and hosted the events. I have also been there plant of time with my grandparents and all of the employees are so polite and welcoming to all of their guests. This is a great bank, with great people, and strives to have an impact on the city!
