Great gas prices and highly recommend the brisket egg and cheese sandwich. It was so good. Also the environment is very friendly and has a great homey feel. ?

Pass the QT off 455 and come here instead! Very friendly, small town gas station and convenience store. I have never had a bad experience here.

The best grab and go store! Things are priced a little high but they will almost always have what you need and have the friendliest employees.

Great burgers here and other wonderful food in their little cafe area. However, like someone else posted yesterday, I also noticed as well they are charging 9.00 dollars for 1 gallon of milk. As those of us who reside in Sanger are all aware, there is no grocery store here and for some of us, driving into Denton just because we need a gallon of milk is a pain in the backside. However. It's an even bigger pain to drop in to a local shop and see them charging 9.00 dollars, it's actually 8.99 but what does the penny matter? This is their price as of 10/5/23. Yes, I am aware The Pit Stop is a "convenience store". I'm also aware of what price gouging is. Shame on you, Pit Stop, you are a local business and you are ripping off the very local folks who are in a tight spot with no grocery store here in town, folks who help your business to keep going. On a side note, the QT in Sanger that just recently opened is no better, for a gallon of milk they're charging 8 dollars. For whatever it's worth and for any locals who hopefully might read this, Dollar General in Sanger sells a gallon milk as of today's date for 3.65. The Pit Stop is a great little local place but you can and should do better on your pricing and I hope you read this and will do better. The local community in Sanger deserves better.

Someone let us in on the local secret. This is the place to go for a good, inexpensive cheeseburger! I have seen other reviews, but I had an excellent experience!

I tried to order a sandwich but the lady working the grill wouldn't even acknowledge me or say hi at the least, even after I said hello. So much for southern hospitality,I just wanted a cold sandwich.

Love this place, best burgers not in town. If I lived in town I would drive to the pit stop for my burgers, corn dogs and meat pies they have it all. Breakfast is ready to go every morning with options from burritos to biscuits and sandwiches. they do grill orders as well. The place is always packed at lunchtime and on Sundays after church so get there early or get there late you won't be disappointed

Normally love the food here. But not much to be impressed with my last 2 visits. Last visit the burger was near burnt. Todays visit I ordered a philly cheesesteak wrap. While the flavor was great, I couldnt make myself eat more than half of it. It was swimming in grease! Wrapped it in paper towels twice and each time they were fully saturated in no time at all. I gave up trying to keep from being dripoed on and quit eating it.

HANDS DOWN, BEST BURGERS IN DENTON COUNTY. Made with locally farmed beef, it may be just a gas station but you should definitely check it out..
