  Got a propane tank from them, and it does not work (still full), and they refuse to exchange it cause we only use digital receipts there, and they want only a paper reciept.

  Came in today with my friend to look for a lipstick and got accused of stealing instead. 😄 My friend and I went in with an old tube of the lipstick I was looking for and we immediately went to the aisle we saw had lipstick. As we looked around, for not even five minutes, my friend asked if she could look at the old tube I had so she could help me. I pulled it out of my purse, in front of the cashier counter btw, and walked up and down the aisle looking for said lipstick before putting it back in my purse. Not even a second later we heard the older lady with black hair and glasses yell for someone named “Cody”. I knew I probably looked sketchy so my friend and I immediately went up to them so we could explain ourselves, even offering to show them what was in our purses as soon as we went up to them. When we did the older lady, Cody, and another employee blocked our path and started verbally attacking us. I had tried to explain the tube I brought was old and showed them how dirty and empty it was, they didn’t care. They kept talking over me and my friend, basically treating two 20 year olds like we were 13. As we tried to explain, the older lady kept trying to make excuses of how we stole it. How we were weird for walking up and down an aisle, how it was weird my friend crouched down to look at the product on the bottom of a shelf, how we should have asked them for help instead of looking for ourself. She said she watched us the entire time but didn’t see me pull lipstick OUT of MY purse? It baffled us. She ended up walking away mid conversation when we were trying to prove we were innocent. They ended up giving us the “benefit of the doubt” and that we shouldn’t “go down that path” when the path I wanted to go down was the lipstick aisle. The funniest part is the aisle we were in, the entire time we were in the store, wasn’t even the aisle with my lipstick. The one we allegedly “stole”. Mid accusation they pointed to the corner of the store, that we weren’t in, to show us where the product was. They could have handled the situation more professionally, without causing a scene in front of the other customers. If they just checked the cameras they would see how we were wrongfully accused. Usually when we would come in the two employees we normally see would be very kind and welcoming. The ones we interacted with today made us never want to go back again. So warning if you need to bring your empty tube of lipstick to find more make sure to tell them your every move, as soon as you walk in, so you don’t get accused either!!! 🩷

  I went in today with my friend and my friend was looking for a lipstick she had bought before from a different store and she had the lipstick on her to make sure she would find the right one and the one she had on her was COMPLETELY empty with streaks on the side. Not even 5 minutes into the store a lady who was on the older side with glasses who works there started yelling for “Cody”, continued to block off the exit, and started accusing us of stealing because they had seen us going back and forth in the makeup aisle trying to find it then continued to say that because I was crouching down, never even opening my purse that I was stealing. They continued to barely even let us speak even when my friend was trying to explain that it was empty and she had brought it to find the exact same one. If they hadn’t continued to make us show them what we had in our purses and checked the cameras instead they would’ve clearly seen that we in fact didn’t steal anything and that they wrongfully accused us and acted like we were children in a candy store with no adult supervision. There was a more professional way they could’ve handled this situation by looking at the cameras and having cops present to even have the authority to look through our purses. If you are ever going to this store along with the empty version of a product you are looking for be sure to show them exactly when you come in and be sure to show them it’s empty because you might even get wrongfully accused of stealing.

  It is a very nice store always clean and organized and the employees are wonderful. One thing I have noticed is that the store manager doesnt treat his employees that well and there is a high turn over.

  This is the best looking Dollar General I've ever been to. The employees obviously care about the appearance of the store and keep it extremely clean and organized compared to any other dollar store I've ever been to! The employees are also very helpful and Knowledgeable about where products are in the store. Would definitely go out of my way to come to this location instead of another!

  This store is the cleanest and neatest $ Store I have been. Leo is great with the customers.My closest store is Mathis. I rather drive further to go to Leo’s store on 534.Mathis needs a complete Do Over and employees who care.

  Watch out for the giant pothole at the entrance of the parking lotThe employees are always helpful but the manager is rude I've never heard him say hello to anyone he's out front smoking the whole store has an odor of cigarettes and when he cashes you out he is texting on his phone the whole time
